"What the hell is wrong with you!" I gasp pulling away quickly. Who does he think he is!
"Katniss please!" He begs me. I gag in disgust. How could he. How dare he! Do this to delly!
"Are you drunk or something?!" I exclaim throwing my arms up in the air. He steps back. His eyes filled with hurt. I immediately feel guilty. "Peeta... I didn't mean that. It's just..." I trail of. He puts an arm on my shoulder.
"Just what?" He asks. I sigh shaking my head.
"Peeta. I don't think feel the same about you" I lie looking down in shame. It's for the best. We can't be together. No! We can't even be seen together! It's not right. He puts his hand under my chin and stares into my teary eyes.
"Katniss I'm sorry. I'm sorry for Delly. I'm sorry for being rude and hurting you when you first arrived at the school. I'm sorry for yesterday. I'm sorry for falling in love with you!" He exclaims. I gasp. We both gasp. His hand flies up to his mouth and his cheeks go red.
"Katniss..." He starts. I slowly back away from him.
"Katniss hear me out!" He calls when I take of running back to the school. "Wait up!" He calls running after me. He stops running after me once we reach the back gate.
"LEAVE ME ALONE PEETA!" I bellow erupting into little sobs. My knees collapse under me and I collapse in a pile on the grass. Peeta stares at me. His eyes turn cold and his fists clench. I suddenly feel scared. What if he hurts me?! We stare at each other for a while.
Peeta turns away and stomps of leaving me confused upset and bewildered. What just happened?!. I don't know the first thing about Peeta Mellark! Let alone what love is?. Why does my life have to be so depressing.

"Katniss! Can you get it!" My sister Prim calls form her room when the doorbell rings. I sigh and roll of my bed and trudge downstairs. When I reach the kitchen counter I grab an apple suddenly feeling hungry. I reach the door and heave it open.
My jaw drops. The apple drops. I stare confused and shocked at the person in front of me.
