"Ava would always play pranks on me and Prim!" I laugh remembering memories.
"She used to love family photos and used to brag about how pretty she looked in all the family photos we took. Which wasn't a joke at all! She really was quite a stunner!" I exclaim looking at my sisters face in the photo.
"Yeah. She is really pretty" Glimmer whispers.
"Yeah. She and Prim did everything together. She, mum and Prim were the blondes. I got my brunette hair from my father. I remember this one time. . ." I trail of sadly not knowing whether to continue or not. I decide that this particular memory was too precious to share.
"How did she die?"' Glimmer whispers. A single tear rolls down my cheek.
"I'm not sure." I whisper softly. "She was kidnapped when she was twelve years old. Snatched out of her bed." I murmur letting more tears fall onto the sofa. Annie's hand flies up to her mouth in shock. Glimmer sits there speechless and blankness.
"I somehow have this feeling she's alive. Trapped in a basement alone. Starving. . ." I say trailing of. A tear drops onto my hand. Biting my lip harshly to avoid sobbing in front of my only true friends.
"I have to tell you something Katniss. And, I know. . . You might not look at me the same way again. ." A trembling voice speaks up. My head snaps up
"Uh-" Annie starts warningly. Glimmer smiles at her reassuringly.
"It's okay Ann. She was either going to find out from the school or Peeta soon anyway." Glimmer trembles. Peeta?
"Peeta?" I ask quietly. Glimmer nods softly sniffling.
"Peeta and I had a one night stand together at a party" Glimmer chuckles quietly. Her and Peeta! I feel a rage of jealousy form in me.
"You and Peeta?" I ask trying to contain my jealousy within me.
"Uh-Hu. It was at a drunken party 2 years ago. Clove and marvel were on a date. Annie was sick, Cato had football practice and Delly was at her uncles place" Glimmer explains. Annie nods seeming to remember.
"It was just me, Peeta and Finnick that went to the party. Everyone was the total opposite of sober, including me and Peeta. I remember the night perfectly. Finnick had gone to get a drink and left me and Peeta standing in the mosh pit. Next thing our bodies were pressed against each other and a make out session started. I remember waking up half naked in a spare bedroom next to a sleeping Peeta!"
"We both were freaking out of course. We went to schools the next day not mentioning a word about what happened that night." Glimmer explains with a solemn look.
" I remember breaking down after seeing that little blue plus." She cries roughly, throwing her head into her shaking hands. I don't say anything. Me and Annie let her have her own time. Letting her cry excruciatingly into her little pale hands.
"I should have known either way she wasn't going to survive. She didn't make it. She wasn't breathing when she came out."
"I'm so sorry." I murmur touching her shoulder gently for comfort. "What's her name?"
"Harley. Harley Jane Mellark. . ."
