Chapter 13

I decided to leave the topic of me and Gale for now. Things were getting tough between Glimmer and Peeta and the last thing I needed was to burst of my hell of a plan. I wasn't so calm of the idea of Glimmer and my crush having a baby together. It would always me a touchy subject for all three of us. Me being I can't control the jealousy within me.

Glimmer was extremely awkward around Peeta again. She told me the same thing happened last year. The awkwardness came back as soon as she brought the subject back up.

"Glimmer" Peeta nods sort of saluting her in a way as we enter the cafeteria and sit at our table.

"Hi Peeta" she murmurs quietly staying close to me. I was NOT liking the tension going around them at ALL.

"Hi Peeta" I say trying to reduce the tension. He smiles slightly which was extremely weird. Well it was start, I guess.

I open my mouth to talk but I get interrupted when Gale takes a seat next to me holding a tray containing mash potatoes and gravy and there were two diet cokes he was holding. Oh no.

"Hey babe" He smirks a bit much. I force a smile on. This was too far. Peeta and Delly look at us blankly.

"Are guys-" Clove speaks awkwardly waving her fork in between us.

"Oh- uh-. . . yeah! We started dating a few days ago" I laugh awkwardly wrapping an arm around Gale.

"She's my rock!" "WAWWWH!" Gale screams. Glimmer holds back a laugh by changing it into a cough.

"Congrats!" Annie exclaims happily. I wish she new.

"Yeah. Gale was talking about you yesterday" Clove says. Marvel and Cato exchange glances and playful punches in the arm.

"Riiiight. . .-' Delly trails of rolling her eyes.

"So. Any news?" I ask. Delly coughs before speaking up.

"Yeah. The slut actually has a boyfriend" She cackles. My heart shatters. My heart slams into my chest. Tears start to form in my eyes. Annie glares at Delly.

"Delly how could you say such a thing!" Glimmer exclaims disgusted.

"Okay. We all know why you and my boyfriend are so awkward around each other. Why are you talking! Your the one who went and got pregnant at sixteen! Whose the slut now!" Delly screeches escalating on the word 'My'.

"Delly! That is enough!" Peeta shouts. Now the whole cafeteria is looking at us. I feel ashamed. Delly glares at Peeta.

"Peeta?! What are you doing! Standing up for her?!" Delly hisses. Peeta stands up. We all jump in our chairs in shock as his chair scrapes loudly against the cold stone floor.

"Yes. Yes I am. I'm standing up for Katniss. She doesn't deserve any of this. I was a jerk to her when she came here and I guess I still am being a jerk to her!. And I'm standing up for Glimmer. That baby was ours and had nothing to do with you!" He shouts. Before continuing.

." I'm sorry. I'm sorry for loving you. I'm sorry for admitting my feelings for you at the wrong time." He yells to a shocked looking bitched up Delly. My heart pieces fly back together again. He does still care about me.

"How could you?!. How could you lie to me like that. How could you admit you love me when secretly you have feelings for that scumbag!" Delly screeches. At that same time her fragile delicate hand comes in contact with Peetas cheek. We all gasp loudly as the horrible 'slap' sound echoes through the solid room.

Delly steps back in shock. Like she didn't mean the slap. Peeta also looks shocked like the rest of us. Delly grips her right hand tightly with her left and stares at Peeta shakily. Peeta reaches out and touches his red hand marked cheek gently. He doesn't say anything but just stands there in shock.

"And for you." Delly struts over to me over-coming her shock. She yanks my hair hard with her fist. I cry out in pain. I swear I can feel my hair particles ripping out of my head.

"DELLY ENOUGH! GET AWAY!" Clove and Cato yell in unison.

"Oh please Cato! Wake up! This is reality. We all know how much you want to bash the hell out of Peeta for having a good f*ck with your girlfriend! And making that devil of a baby together. That baby should have been killed before Glimmer went through the trouble of birthing that dead thing! By the way Glim. Probably should let you know now, but I was the one who told kids at school about you and that dead bastard!" She cackles loudly.

With this Glimmer bursts into erupts of sobs and stands up immediately. Her shaky hand clutching over her trembling mouth.

The room was silent, including the people watching this scene play out. The only thing that could be heard was Glimmers high pitched sobs that were echoing. All eyes were on her. Delly stood there with her hands on her hips looking proud of herself. Glimmer races out of the room at an unbelievable speed. Her blonde hair bouncing behind her making the scene look even more dramatic than it already should look.

Cato stands up as well not knowing to wether to go after her or not. I decide to go after her. I push away from the table quickly and start walking towards the door.

"Katniss. You don't look anything like your dead blonde sister. Hmm. . . Thought you guys would have at least the same eye colour. Ava was quite the pretty one" I stop dead in my tracks. How Delly know about my family secret. I slowly turn around coming face to face with a smart ass looking Delly.

"How do you know Ava?" I ask between gritted teeth. My eyes were glistened in tears looking bright in the light.

"I know a lot of things." She smiles sweetly at me. I know it's fake. You can see right through it. The thought of Ava in my head made me think crazed. I run out the room just like Glimmer did. Into the hallways and down the locker room. I've had enough bullsh*t for the day.

Running into the second hallway I crash down onto the floor in a small crack behind a locker. Sobbing into my hands I shake uncontrollably. My body in racks of sobs. How did Delly make my life such a wreck. How can anybody be so mean!

I'm interrupted by my deep thoughts by heavy footsteps coming my way. I peek around the corner. Peeta is running looking around frantically. My heart speeds up as I watch him running towards my direction. He does care. He loves me.

Then it speeds down. It shatters once again. Twice in one day. My love. My Peeta. My crush. Runs straight past me me. Doesn't even look at my face. His footsteps become fainter as he becomes further away from me.

Still looking around frantically he runs around the corner yelling out something that make me break into two. That makes me want to switch places. That makes my whole world tumble.

"Glimmer! Where are you! Glimmer I still have feelings for you!"

Sorry for the slow update. School has been really busy the past few weeks. Luckily, I'm on holidays now for two weeks so update should be bombarding out at you. Also I haven't been updating because I'm been to obsessed with fangirling over Pretty little liars. Sooo that's another reason.
