"Primrose! I'm home!" Mum calls from downstairs. My heart starts beating rapidly as I'm sitting in my bedroom with my boyfriend smoking cigarettes. Could things get any worse? Well they could.
"Crap. Hide them." I hiss too Rory as I spray my mouth with breath freshener. Rory hides the butts under my pillow and sprays my room with my vanilla deodorant, before popping gum in both our mouths.
"Prim?" My mum calls again coming closer too my room.
"Yeah mum! I'm in my room!" I shout back at her. Rory fixes his clothing and his hair just as my door opens.
My mum stands there with a smile on her face, standing in a black pencil skirt and a white half lengthen sleeved shirt with a dark blue blazer over it. Her long blonde hair was up in a neat bun and she had a pair of glasses on.
"Hello Rory, how are you sweetie?" She asks my boyfriend. Rory smiles sweetly at my mother.
"I'm very well Mrs everdeen. How was work today?" He asks my mum. Mum sighs and rolls her eyes.
"Tiring, I have a new client, she wants too sue her boss for something ridiculous. Anyway, I also have a court case coming up in a few months so I'm working on that with my boss" Mum's huffs taking a seat on my bed.
Mum was a lawyer, a very hard working one. She was always very busy and was always in our study doing paper works, and when she wasn't doing paper work in the study, she would be on the phone for hours with clients and working out court cases.
"Well. I better be going now. Mum will be wondering where I am, I'm actually meant to be watching posy, but Gale overtook for me. But I do have too be home in time for Vick's soccer practice." He explain standing up. I also stand up off the bed.
"Bye Rory. I'll call you later." I say before he gives me a quick peck on the lips.
"Yep Primmy. Bye Mrs Everdeen." Rory says as he walks out the door, my mother trailing behind him.
