Becky POV
I feel suffocated as Sam seems to ignore my feelings for her.
I have to be more sincere in my confessions to her! And next when I confess to her, it should be special and the moment should be perfect.
I am taking her on a yacht and I have planned to propose her in the middle of the ocean, in front a sunset.
I should have asked her about sea sickness before taking her out for a yacht date. Because when she saw us stopping at a private port, her face became pale.
"Sam, are you afraid of water?" I asked looking at her nervous expression.
"Not water, but I am afraid on going on any kind of boat" She said looking down, as if trying to hide her fear. But I can see her fingers, shaking terribly out of fear.
"I am good with yacht. Trust me you will enjoy it" I selfishly tried to convince her to get on yacht, so that I can carry out my plan.
"Becky....I.....I....can...can we not go?" She asks with a pale face.
She is terribly scared.
"I will be there with you" I said to convince her. She took a long pause and then held my hand "You aren't allowed to leave me for a second" Sam ordered.
"I will never" I replied and we went on the yacht.
She really meant when she said that I am not allowed to leave her hand. She literally held onto me all the time when we were on the yacht.
I again failed to propose her, as how can I propose to her, when she is all terrified because of water.
But our time was still romantic. We silently stayed on the yacht, we watched the sunset and then I brought us back to shore.
On our way back, she was less terrified than before and became used to on being on the yacht, but she still never left my hand when we were there.
She only left me when we came back on the port.
Today did not go as I planned, but at least Sam concurred over her fear of boats and we spent a romantic evening, only with two of us in an empty sea.
I will try again next time!
