"Mom"I asked as I sat down on my bed.
"Yes" Shelby said as I stood quiet for a second on the phone.
"Did you sell me when I was a baby?" I asked as Shelby stood quiet.
"I didn't sell you... Well I mean I just gave you away to get money....but that was long ago.... It doesn't matter anymore... Why?" Shelby asked on the phone.
"Nothing I just wanted to know"I said as I got up from the bed and walked to the kitchen.
It stood quiet for a few seconds until I broke the silence. "Mom I'm pregnant." I said as I smiled brightly and started to cry, happy tears.
"WHAT OH MY GOODNESS!" Shelby yelled happily.
"Wait with who's baby Rachel"
"With Jesse's baby.....mom he asked me to marry him.... I said yes"I said with a bright smile
"Oh..wow... When was this?" Shelby said.
"6 months ago" I said as I looked down at my ring.
"6 months ago?? Why didn't you tell me..."Shelby said
"You never answered your phone....you were to busy with work to answer me" I said as I looked down.
"I'm sorry Rachel" Shelby said .
"I know you are" I smiled slightly.
"Mom you should come over some time"I said as I walked to the kitchen. "next week" I walked to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle.
"Rachel I have so much to d-----" I cut Shelby off.
"Mom.... You haven't seen me for months..... You didn't go to the first day of the musical.... I don't even hear from you anymore" I cried as Shelby stood quiet.
"I know... And I'm truly sorry Rachel" Shelby said as I nodded.
"I have to go" I said as I hung up.
"Well that went pretty well..." Jesse said as I sighed.
"Yea I guess... Hopefully mom comes and visits"I said as Jesse comes close to me and kisses me.
"Don't worry... I know she's gonna come babe" Jesse said with a smirk.
Jesse looks down at my belly and says" hey little guy in there.... I'm your daddy..... And I love you so much...oh I mean I will love you forever" Jesse kissed my stomach and then traveled all the way up to my lips.
I smiled and pushed him away. "Do I look fat???" I asked as Jesse smiled and nodded no.
"Well I'm gonna look fat"I said as Jesse kisses me on the lips again.
"And I'll love you no matter what" Jesse said as I chuckled and walked to the mirror next to my bed"
