Kid and Neon weren't too much help to anybody. Jesse, Goldie, Kimberly and Charms were sent to go get the blood. The Ringleaders, the Professor and Cameron were to negotiate with the elves somehow. So Kid, Neon and Nicky were practically sitting ducks until further notice.
They remained in the Common Room, Neon was polishing his shield while Nicky and Kid kind of just sat there. Neon didn't like sitting around doing nothing. Outside, the world seemed to mimic the mood of the situation; glum clouds, crying skies and rumbling growls. Kid wanted to do something to help, Mary seemed to be in so much pain yet... she didn't show any of it. When they had left, Mary had contained her insanity and adopted glaring silence.
Neither Kid nor Neon seemed to know how to be useful other than to simply stay out of the way of everybody else.
Neon watched as she continued to bite down on her necklace. "You're going to break or mark that if you don't stop," Neon warned.
Kid froze halfway through biting and dropped it.
Dominick...
She frowned as she hugged her knees, do you think we'll ever find Dominick, Live?
There was silence, and Kid thought maybe Live wasn't paying attention, but she answered. We'll find him. Something big is going to happen and we all need to be together to do it.
Kid hugged her knees and sighed. I miss him.
Live chuckled, you poor diluted pansy. Of course we'll find him.
Kid slouched as she leaned her head on the lounge's back. Neon watched this and sighed, "Don't look like such a sourpuss," he stated tossing his gadget to the ground. "How about we go do something, huh?" he stood up and practically pulled Kid to her feet, "Do you wanna play a game or something?" he offered.
Neon didn't normally suggest games because he never liked playing games with Kid. When she wasn't cheeky and cheating, she normally got into some sort of trouble, but he didn't like seeing Kid look so depressing after her death scare. He still had no clue how this happened.
Kid smiled as she stood up on the lounge and simply jumped on it like a trampoline.
Neon rolled his eyes, "you're so helpful."
She giggled as she jumped at him and he barely managed to catch her. Neon nearly fell over with her. But before Neon could really do anything, the Common Room door opened and Jason walked in. Following behind him was someone that made Kid feel like she was staring at a mimicking mirror. She couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman, because while their long almost white blonde hair stretched down to their hips they didn't have any features that could be classified as extremely feminine or really masculine. They wore what looked like a coffee stained peasant shirt and tighter brown pants that seemed capable of holding a belt, with a dagger and a small pouch. Other than the dagger the figure was armed with a bow and arrow which hung on their back. If she had to guess, Kid was leaning closer to a woman than a man, only because of her eyes.
And she seemed to be correct.
"Is this the Representative?" the person asked. She had a thick accent to her voice, it was an accent Neon had heard throughout Delco City every now and then, but he never would've thought they were elves. He just assumed they were foreigners from overseas, and since he was no good at geography, he could never guess where.
Without an answer, the elf walked over to Neon and Kid. Neon dropped Kid and she hid behind him almost defensively. The elf stood before Neon for a moment and seemed to glare at him. Neon could tell she wanted him to move, but he didn't trust her even remotely.
