Jason and Harold stood before the scene that was undoubtedly Natalie's last moments of life. The two demons were still somewhat distracted by the scent of death that, even hours afterwards, still burned strong to their senses and desires.

Jason managed to ignore it long enough to think straight and looked around.

The powers of a demon were strong ones, and like he had before, Jason tried to see what had played out before him. He had tried previously, but got nothing, and hoped it was just his senses being attacked by his hunger. But even hours after, there was still nothing here. Night have fallen over them now, and the cool air only stimulated the scents.

"Someone's taken the physical scene from this place," Jason announced as he looked around, the roof was clean, suggesting someone came up here every so often to rake the leaves out of the gutters at least, but there wasn't even a trace of a cleaner's existence.

There wasn't too many people who were capable of taking the physical event of something from the existence of an area. Those who were capable were rare and few.

"What do you think did this?" Harold asked. He was too engrossed in the smell to really contribute anything to this scene, but even when he tried everything about this place had been wiped. Whoever had done this was good enough to eliminate everything that's ever happened on the rooftop, all except for the existence of the rooftop itself and the smell of death that teased the demons.

"Whatever it was, it was good." Jason tilted his hat in defeat of whoever had done this, there was no way of getting it back. Whoever took it would have it in their own memory now.

"Too good," Harold added as he blocked his nose in an attempt to block out the smell. To many it was a horrid smell, the smell of death was never good to people. Many used it as a horrible metaphor for death, but to demons it was as sweet as the smell of desserts, as delicious as cookies and treats or apples.

Both Ringleaders knew that the lack of evidence here was evidence in itself.

It also narrowed down the suspect pool.

"Natalie was pushed off wasn't she?" Jason double checked.

Harold nodded, "she was pushed, managed to grab the edge and hang there for a moment before falling."

Jason smiled, "even the fastest of event takers aren't that quick."

"You think she'd still have her mental memories?" Harold asked.

"If she does then she won't for long." Jason and Harold started walking off the rooftop and down to where Natalie's body was.

They were walking for a few minutes when Jason said, "What did Dominick say to you?"

Harold smirked, "I think he was offering some sort of promotion."

Jason's walking stick continued to click as he walked. "That's amusing," he stated, "what did you think?"

"I found it funny. He made a vague threat to my daughter and offered power he didn't currently have." Harold could feel the blade on his suit still, Dominick had power, but he seemed to think he could get more to gamble with, which only made Harold feel somewhat uneasy. A human could only take so much power before falling for the spell of insanity. Despite his claims of being a Keeper, there was a great deal of humanity within the man.

Harold exchanged these thoughts with Jason as they walked. "He threatened your daughter?" Jason asked.

"I don't think he has anything planned, more to make me worry."

Jason stopped in his march. "Is he succeeding?" Jason asked.

"A father is always worried for his daughter," Harold replied. Jason stood silent for a moment before tilting his hat to his partner, and they made their way through the maze of hallways until they got to the room where Natalie's body resided.
