Kid was in the Common Room with Neon, the two of them were doing a small puzzle. Mary and the Ringleaders had just come back the night before, while nobody was allowed in Mary's room they were all assured that Mary was fine.
They had been told the Ringleaders had performed the Emotional Wipe as soon as they had gotten back and Mary was recovering. An Emotional Wipe was an exhausting progress for the person. She was expected to come out of her room either tomorrow or the day after.
Charms was sitting on the lounge scratched Jesse's ear. He hadn't come out of his animalistic state yet, he still acted very much so like a dog or wolf.
Kid looked at the picture the puzzle made, it appeared to be of some sort of meadow scenery. It was really colourful.
Neon was helping her find the edges of the puzzle and work their way in. All the other agents were in the room, the missions for Travellers A and B were allowed to be suspended until Mary was well again.
Kid smiled as she continued to put the pieces together. She had never really played with a puzzle that much.
Everybody seemed calm and at some form of peace... that is until the doors slammed open. Kid got to her feet while everybody else looked over to the door. There were four elves now, one was the person who cursed Mary in the first place. Both the Ringleaders seemed to have escorted them in, "The Representative," Harold informed gesturing to Kid.
The three other elves were noticeably larger and obviously at a higher rank; one of them had a silver wooden staff while the other two were draped in robes that concealed blades. They went to approached Kid, but Jason blocked the elves with his arm. "You have an hour and then I want you to leave the premises. Am I understood, gentlemen?"
Neon stood up and stood in front of Kid to block her from them taking her.
The elves seemed to nod and were allowed to walk to Kid while the Ringleaders left the room. All the agents in the room watched them suspiciously as they walked across the room. They were annoyed that the Ringleaders were being so loosey-goosey with what was happening.
The elves towered over Neon, and it took all his strength not to move under their fierce gaze. "Move mortal," they snapped.
Neon shook his head, not trusting his voice not to speak. As a reply, the elf struck Neon with the ball of his staff, throwing Neon to the ground clutching his head.
Kid went wide eyed and yelped as she ran and fell to her knees. He slowly pushed himself up to his elbows as he held his head. It was throbbing right where he had been struck.
Everybody in the room reacted by pulling out their weapons and flew into action, standing before the three high ranked elves. The elves were taller than all of them, by at least a head or so, but that didn't necessarily mean that the elves would triumphed in a fight.
"You guys have a lot of nerve coming here and assaulting one of our agents," Kimberly snapped, her fingers laced with the physical magic of light.
"And you have some nerve concealing the Representative after we helped heal one of your agents," the tallest elf explained, it was obviously a male elf. "So don't go mouthing off to me, half-blood."
He attempted to push past her, but it gained a shoulder to his gut. "Don't go mouthing off to me either," she hissed. "I take insult to half-blood."
Before anymore could be said, Kid pushed her way forwards and glared at the elf. "You don't hurt my friends," she informed, her voice a perfect mimic of his own.
He seemed to kneel down to her size. "Fascinating."
Kid scowled at him and even snarled. "If you touch me I'll scream," she threatened as Charms pulled Kid behind her.
