Terry hit the red ball right into a corner net. He smirked at his success.
Within the room, there were several Ringleaders or bosses ranging from Drug Rings, Gang Circles, high end company owners and the leaders of powerful agencies or groups. Harold and Jason were among them; Jason was sitting on one of the lounges next to Mary, who wasn't completely comfortable with these people. Half of them were criminals, but the Travellers keep them out of jails in return for information on the streets when it came to robberies, potential high end attacks or anything new that hit the market; drugs, girls, magic item or anything.
Mary never liked these people.
But she had to be known to these people if she ever wished to have some form of leadership future. Information and knowledge was an essential when it came to the work they do.
They were all in the game room; the room was assaulted with the smell of cigar smoke since nearly all the men in there were smoking something. All the women, which came down to a grand total of four, either didn't smoke anything or weren't paid to smoke anything. "Jason you're up," a pretty brunette informed, she was draped in a tunic and coat of reds and blacks, normally went by the name Sunny.
Jason's pool cue was being twisted lazily within his fingers, "I'll skip my go, I'm just after information in this round."
Mary looked from Jason to everybody else. He hadn't done one hit since the game had started. "Are you sure, Jason, at the rate you're going you're going to have to do one hell of a hit to beat some of the people before you," one of the men informed, a man by the name of John Smith; simply Smith. Jason and Mary both agreed that it wasn't his real name, he was apparently a European man, he mainly dealt with drugs.
He was one of the greatest Drug Lords Jason and Harold had ever seen, and he was mainly known for trying out any new product worth selling. As a result, his mind was one that nearly nobody could properly grasp, all except his assistant, a young girl by the name of Susan Smith. There was a lot of questioning whether it was a marriage last name or a family last name, whether it was relationship or incest, but either way, wherever John was, Susan would always be nearby. In this case; standing behind him like some body guard.
Jason shrugged, "I don't take goes unless I must," Mr Traveller explained as he looked at Mary was drawing.
This caught the attention of Sunny, who attempted to look, "what are you doodling there, Mary?" she asked.
Mary flinched at the hearing of her name, and attempted covering what she was drawing. "Mary, no come on," Jason urged. Mary reluctantly gave up what she was drawing and Jason passed it to Sunny.
Sunny looked at it, it seemed to be a ballroom scene, "well isn't this nice," she commented as she passed the drawing back. Mary almost snatched it back and hid it within her notebook. To Sunny, Mary didn't come across as shy or anything, but more cautious, which simply made her seem that little bit cute.
There seemed to be a moment of silence among everyone. "So what's your plan for all the disappearances?" Eric asked, Eric was a huge name in the gambler world. He had bookies and money and bodyguards and everything in between, he was one of the hugest dealers of guns, women and army poisons.
Mary didn't like him, the amount of times she had offered her a 'job' was sickening.
"We're working on it, Eric," Jason informed.
"And how far are you getting exactly?" Ping asked.
"Like we said, we're working on it," Harold replied, "Surely you know we aren't allowed to speak of these things in full detail."
