"What's the dark supernatural?" Neon asked.

After that incident, they figured maybe something to eat would calm Kid down a little.

"The Shade you just witnessed was one of them," Mary explained.

"What is a Shade?" Neon asked.

"From what we know, they're a form of evil creatures that haunt your vision," Harold explained, "you know, that's why seemingly still objects move in the dark if you stare at them, why you think something is under your bed or in the closet. Most of the time they're harmless though."

Yeah... completely harmless... Neon thought looking at Kid, she was walking with the blankest expression he had ever seen her do.

"She'll be fine, Neon," Jason assured, "Shades are mainly created to cover other monsters from sight, what she is reacting to is what the Shade protected from sight. She'll be fine."

Neon frowned somewhat.

Soon they opened the doors into what looked like a giant Dining Room. The walls and the ground were completely white, and in the centre was a long dining table. The windows within the room would've been offended to have been called big. They were huge! And it was currently night time, so when Kid walked into the room and saw the endless blanket of stars above her, whatever fear scared her before seemed to have evaporated as she ran right for one of the windows to look outside.

"Told you she would be fine," Harold said.

"I think you'll find I actually said it," Jason corrected.

"Same thing but different," Harold replied.

Jason was about to object, but simply shook his head and gave up attempting to make sense of any of it. "Please," Jason said gesturing to the dining table. Neon wanted to decline, and was about to if his shoulder hadn't clicked with Mary's, who gave him a very cold stare. He held her glare for as long as he needed to as he walked over to the dining table. Everybody else sat down except for Kid, who remained looking out the window.

But after a moment, they all saw Kid wasn't really looking anymore, she was fascinated with the glass. She was tapping her fingers against it to make a beat or blowing steam on it to draw pictures. She didn't react when people attempted to call her over, so Neon stood up and walked over to her. "Hey, Kid. Come on, let's just get this over with and we might be able to get off the airship," he whispered to her.

Kid didn't look at him, her eyes remained glued on the outside, she gave off another deep breath against the glass and she started writing quickly.

It's a long way down.

Neon looked down to the ground and leaned back so he wouldn't have to look at the intimidating height. "Just come on," he hissed.

Kid frowned at him, but followed him to the dining table. She was annoyed of this place already; everything was too tall for her. The chair's back towered over her head, the ground was beyond her feet, and the plate before her was at her nose. She stared at all the utensils provided, there were five types of spoons of different styles, forks and knives of different shapes and sizes, there were three different cups on the table also, each looking really fancy.

Kid looked to Neon, who sat across from her, for some form of help, but he seemed just as overwhelmed by the silverware.

Kid gulped at the odd silence that seemed to fill the whole room. Without warning however, someone started yelling. "Dinner has been served!" someone exclaimed.
