Chapter 18

"What'd you just say?" Chooki asked confused. "I have to move back to my home town for a few months." Yasmin answered. "Why?" Chooki asked. "Don't know. Could you not tell anyone about it." Yasmin said. "Okay but could I at least tell Guren, since he is your good brother." Chooki said. "Yeah, okay." Yasmin said and Chooki went out of the tent to get Guren. A minute later, Chooki went back to Yasmin's tent with Guren. "So where is the emergency." Guren said. "Well I have to move back to my home town." Yasmin said. "Why?" Guren asked. "Don't know." Yasmin said. "For how long?" Guren asked. "About 2-3 months. Not so long." Yasmin said. "That's not long!" Guren and Chooki exclaimed while trying to keep their voice down. "What's wrong. Its not like I'm coming back." Yasmin said calmly again. "Well that is true so yeah." Guren said. "Hey Guren don't tell anyone that I'm leaving and can I talk to Chooki for a minute." Yasmin said. "Sure." Guren said and he left. "I need to ask you a favor." Yasmin said. "Yeah what is it." Chooki said.

Yasmin took out a yellow and white bracelet with a corebrick socket. "Okay 1 why have I never seen you wear that, 2 why does it have a corebrick socket and 3 what am I supposed to do." Chooki asked. "Okay 1 you have never seen me wear it because when I do wear it, I converted my power to the bracelet and it turns invisible, 2 the socket is for something and 3 I need you to keep it with you. It now has the ability to turn invisible by itself when its with someone else, when I do come back I have a feeling that I would be controlled by the evil side so if you put your corebrick into it and zap me I will be released from the control. If I keep it with me then Jackson and Joshua would probably attack you and all my friends but mostly you because you have known me a lot longer than the others. Would you promise me that you would do that even if it means hurting me." Yasmin explained. "Do I have to." Chooki said with uncertainty. "Chooki." Yasmin said. "Okay I promise but I'll try to not hurt you." Chooki said. "Also if my bracelet starts to glow it means that it is close to its original owner and that you would need to be prepared." Yasmin said. "Good to know. Now lets get back to the others." Chooki said and they both went out of the tent.

"What were you two talking about." Ceylan said. "You will find out soon enough." Yasmin said. "So what are we doing now?" Alexia asked. "Archery." Wakemai said, coming out of nowhere. "Where'd you come from?" Toxsa asked his sister. "Mr White's tent. He gave me today's and tomorrow's schedules so I will be in charge for now. Also after tomorrow, we are going back home so make the most out of the days you have left." Wakemai said and everyone grabbed the equipment for archery and went to the place where they were going to do it. When they got there, they saw that the targets were already set up. "Do we have to work with partners because there are only 6 targets." Toxsa said. "Yes and I have already chosen the teams. Toxsa you are with Beni, Guren you are with Alexia, Ceylan you're with Gen, Termin you're with Amanda, Chooki you are with Yasmin and Maddison you are with Christine." Wakemai said. "How did I end up with bubble gum head." Toxsa said. "Its no better for me microchip." Beni said. "At least you didn't get emo weirdo." Ceylan said. "I'm not an emo anymore, blueberry." Gen said. "Stop fighting and get to your targets with your teammates." Wakemai said.

Everyone grabbed their bows and arrows and went in front of their targets. "Who knows how to do archery?" Wakemai asked and only Alexia put her hand up. "Okay Alexia you teach Guren's, Termin's and Chooki's team and I'll do the rest of the teams." Wakemai said and they went off to the teams they were teaching in. Half an hour later and they were done teaching the teams. "That took a very long time." Ceylan said. "Well lets try hitting the targets." Christine said and she shot her arrow and it landed close to the bullseye. "Aw. So close." Christine said. "That was close." Ceylan said. "Hey Toxsa how bout you try shooting." Christine said. "Okay." Toxsa said and tried shooting it but accidentally aimed it at Maddison but she moved out of the way just in time. "Since when was there an apple on my head." Maddison said. "Sorry." Toxsa said. After everyone tried shooting at the targets, with only a few getting bullseyes, they all sat down.

"I'm cold and we are too far away from the camp." Alexia said. "I'll make it warmer." Guren said and shot a fireball at the ground making a campfire. "How did you do that?" Alexia asked. "You might want to ask Amanda." Guren said and everyone looked at Amanda. "Okay I'll tell. I know the entire history of Quarton and everything about tenkai energy so what Guren just did had something to do with his elemental powers. Everyone of us has powers and so far only Guren and Yasmin has unlocked them. The powers for each of you is, Guren has fire, Ceylan has ice, Toxsa has earth, Chooki has lightning, Gen has wind, Alexia has heat, Christine has water, Maddison has boulder, Yasmin has thunder, Beni has galaxy, I have both fire and heat, Joshua has ice and water, Wakemai has earth and boulder, Kiro has lightning and thunder, Termin has wind and galaxy and Jackson has dark." Amanda explained. "That's cool but our enemies have powers." Ceylan said. "Afraid so. Joshua has powers because he was supposed to become a protector but he didn't and Jackson, well I have no idea." Amanda said. "Well its awesome that we have powers." Ceylan said and as he did he turned the campfire to ice. "Oops." Ceylan said laughing.

"Ceylan its cold again." Alexia complained, shivering. "Sorry." Ceylan said. "Its okay. Its warm again." Alexia said. "Guren is that you doing it?" Toxsa asked Guren. "No the fire already went out." Guren replied. "Alexia. You got your powers." Toxsa said. "I did? I did." Alexia said jumping up and down. "Ugh stop jumping." Christine said and shot Alexia with water. "You found your powers too." Alexia said. "Okay." Christine said. "Lets get back to camp." Chooki said. "Race you there." Yasmin said. "Actually how bout we all have a race." Guren suggested and everyone agreed. Everyone lined up to race. "3.2.1.GOO." Ceylan yelled and everyone raced. They got to the campsite with both Chooki and Yasmin tied first, Gen third, Guren fourth, Beni fifth, Alexia sixth, Termin seventh, Amanda eighth, Christine ninth, Ceylan tenth, Maddison eleventh and Toxsa got last. "Looks like we got a tiebreaker." Wakemai said.

I think I told you in the last chapter that I wouldn't update unless someone gets the cliffhanger right but I didn't want anyone to wait for a week so this is the chapter.

anyways I will be writing the next chapter and it will have the tiebreaker in it. thanks to everyone that has voted for my chapters and that has read my story and I will try to update more often whether its on my phone or my computer.
