Tugging his collar, Grian sighs at his reflection. The outfit is... nice, he admits, even if he's only ever worn it in passing and among friends.

Pink spirals swirl over black like coiling mist across his 'hero suit', little ribbons of purple peeking out from the bottom of the pink to accent it like a shadow. Some swirls transition smoothly into actual ribbons, trailing behind him like the mist they mimic, curling in swirling spirals to give the feeling of walking through a curtain of mist. His mask, something Scar quite literally had to badger him into adding to the outfit, is perhaps the singular most elaborate and ornamental piece of the outfit. Eye holes were not up for discussion, same for the beak-like shape giving it depth and shape. He does not need any resemblance to Watcher masks here.

He's not sure entirely why he chose high heels instead of boots or some other kind of footwear, but any change he tries to make to it just feels wrong now, so he's stuck with it. At least a quick enchantment makes it easier to walk in without testing how much force it would take for a Watcher to roll their ankle.

His weapons of choice, not that he needs them, are two magic/energy guns that will stun anyone shot with them. No actual damage though. He's just here to be Scar's sidekick for a week.

Speaking of Scar, the man himself struts out of the room he'd been changing in, dressed in full HotGuy gear. His suit is mostly black, but with neon orange and blue drawing angular lines up his sides, the two colors meeting over his chest like his own variant of Superman's symbol.

Grian crosses his arms. "I fail to see why I have to wear a mask while you get away with funky-colored glasses. Those don't conceal your face at all!"

Scar is entirely unapologetic. "Aww, c'mon Grian, we talked about this! Your whole theme is elegant mystery! You can't just put on silly glasses and still have your theme be elegant mystery!"

"Scar, you know what I am!" Grian hisses, mildly agitated. "The whole reason why I try to stay away from half-masks is because I don't want to freak anyone out!"

"That looks nothing like those masks though! I'd say it looks more plague-doctor-y than anything else, plus, it's black and pink! It's the completely wrong color for that!"

"I- Ugh! Fine." Once again, Grian gives up on the argument he already lost once before.

...He doesn't actually hate wearing masks, you know. It's just... All his friends have had terrible experiences with Watchers before. If going without a mask and avoiding wearing purple is what it takes to make them feel comfortable in his presence, he'll forsake those things in a heartbeat. The purple accents on his outfit are the most of the color he's willing to wear around them.

Scar test-fires his bow into a target block embedded in the wall of their freshly dug out underground base, yelling out, "HotGuy!"

"Nice shot," he compliments.

"Why thank you!" Scar accepts graciously. "Those bad guys won't know what... hit them..." Scar trails off, smile fading as he stares at the arrow.

Grian tilts his head, asking, "Is something wrong?" Is his bow feeling off or something?

Scar licks his lips. "Uh, I just had a bit of a, uh, realization, of sorts. People here can't... They can't heal as easily as we can."

"...Correct?"

His hand tightens around the shaft of the arrow in his hand. "I don't... I'm not sure I should use my bow then."

Ah, so that's the problem. Grian snatches the arrow from his hand, weaving a quick enchantment through it. Just a little something similar to his sparring sword. He hands the arrow back. "There." He taps his chest. "Try shooting me with that one."
