Humming a little tune to himself, Grian spins a little bundle around cheerily, waiting for Scott to finish whatever he's doing. It's just some editing, but considering Grian's the one who showed up unannounced, it's only fair that he not demand he put everything on pause for him.

As for why he's paid a visit to Scott out of nowhere? It's to deliver his order, of course! Six sets of bracelets, enchanted to protect the wearer's mind and body as best they can.

They're quite nice for the material quality, he must admit. With only mithril and a small ruby for half of them, this has to be one of the lowest quality sales he's made in, well, forever! It's okay though. He was able to improve the overall quality by embedding a tiny little feather fluff fragment within it. His original intent with that was just to protect it against anti-magic fields, but it did a surprisingly good job of boosting the enchantment's power once completed.

Honestly, he shouldn't even categorize this as a sale. It's... Not charity, not when he's still asking for repayment, but he can't really call this a proper business transaction when he'll never press for the other party to pay up? Even if Scott never ends up finding mithril to pay him, it was such a small amount compared to his stores that he's completely unbothered by its loss.

His ruminations are interrupted by the arrival of the man himself. He grins. "Hey Scott! Guess what?"

Scott raises an eyebrow, spotting the bundle in his hand. "I'm guessing this has something to do with whatever you're holding?"

"Of course!" He tosses it over. "Go ahead and check it out. I think you'll be quite pleased with the contents."

"Pleased?" Scott opens the bundle, and his expression turns to one of surprise. "Wait, are these the bracelets? You're done already?" He does a silent count of the bracelets. "You made twelve of them? I was expecting only two or three!"

"C'mon Scott, I'm not going to shortchange you when all you've asked for is something to keep yourself and your friends safe. Six sets, for you to distribute as you please. I'd like it if you'd keep one for yourself though. Just to be safe."

Scott examines one curiously, tilting it and watching the light play off of the silvery blue metal. "Is there a reason they come in sets?"

He blinks. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"Scar showed me what they do. They protect you against things that'll cause damage, right? I kinda just assumed that the second one was a backup."

"Ah, I see the misunderstanding. Yeah, no, you definitely want one of each." He snags the bracelet out of Scott's hand, indicating the small ruby set into it. "This one is physical protection. It'll stop the attacks of just about anything you're liable to encounter, barring a Watcher with more than two pairs of wings, and will prevent drowning, suffocation, fall damage, asphyxiation, and repel most poisons. Default range is just above the skin, but you can double tap the gem to expand it to a three foot radius and repel everything you don't want inside the barrier."

"Scar explained... some of that, yes."

"Well the other bracelet handles the non-physical side of things. It's not nearly as flashy, and there's no real way to demonstrate, but it'll keep you safe up here." He taps his temple.

It takes a second for it to process, but when it does, Scott's eyes widen. "This can keep Wa- things out of my mind?"

His grin grows. "No need to lower your expectations, my friend. That little bracelet can keep even a Watcher out of your head. A low Tier, at least. A Tier 3 –one with three pairs of wings– can get through it pretty quickly, but it ought to buy you enough time to activate your enderporter and escape."
