From my room I could hear and feel the yells, bangs, and booms. There was a tap on my window and I looked over to see Ari. "What?" I asked as I opened it.

"Natsu is taking on the iron dragon slayer, and he's going to get himself hurt. He needs you." Happy said, appearing beside Ari. "Fine. But only this once. Happy, can you get me there?" I asked and he nodded.

I was soon gripping onto his tail and we were there in no time. I walked through the doors to see a beat up Natsu. I walked over and stood beside him.

"Who's the girl?" The iron dragon slayer asked. "Fairy Tail's other fire dragon slayer." Natsu answered. "Go sit down or something. I've got this." I sighed. "I thought you didn't fight." Natsu said in confusion. "Well, I don't have much of a choice now, do I?" I sighed.

"You're telling me this little girl thinks she can beat me? Please. I've squashed bugs bigger than her!" He laughed and I grit my teeth. "I really don't appreciate my sex being thrown into this. And I'm actually a bit taller than average sized girls." I shrugged. "And Natsu." I added with a smile.

"I don't have time for this! Just go play with your dolls or something!" He yelled and tried to hit me with an iron fist, but I caught it and melted it down, making him scream. I grew winds and a pointed tail from my back and claws on my fingers. Horns and a sharp spiked spine erupted as well. All a midnight black colour against my snow white complexion.

"I don't play with dolls." I growled, my voice deep and distorted. I threw him into a wall and stepped forward. "I play with dragons." I smirked before burning him to a crisp, not caring that I killed him.

I let my flame die, and I just stood there and started at him, tears filling my eyes.

"Retreat now." I heard Erza call and everyone started retreating. I turned and Ari landed on my shoulder. "Don't cry, Henley." She hissed. "I'm sorry." I tried to wipe my tears away, but they only kept coming.

Grey came over and put am arm around my shoulders. "Why are you crying?" He asked and Natsu, Happy, and Erza turned to face me. "I'm not crying. Shut up." I said and put on a straight face.

We met up with Lucy at her house and I tried to escape back to my bedroom, but Grey caught my hand. "Seriously, tell me. Why are you crying?" He asked. "Because I fought someone." I said, avoiding eye contact. "Yeah, and you kicked his butt too!" Natsu grinned.

"I killed him!" I shouted and they fell silent. "It's this curse I have. Well, not a real curse, it just always happens. Every time I get in a fight, I always end up killing my opponent. I used to get in tons of fights as a kid, and I killed a lot of people. I had friends, and once I accidentally killed one of them, I haven't been able to keep friends since. When I was twelve, I swore to never fight again... And I just broke it." I squeezed my eyes shut.

"That's why you don't fight?" Grey asked and I nodded. Then he pulled me into a hug and I pressed my face against his shoulder.

"You know, if you told us sooner, we wouldn't've made you fight." Grey said. "But today we actually kind of needed you." Natsu said. "And we'll still be friends!" Lucy said.

"Really? What about all the other people in the guild?" I looked up and sniffed. "We'll tell them why you don't fight. They'll understand." Grey said and pushed my hair back from my face.

"Are you sure?" Grey only smiled. "Well, we understood, didn't we?"

The Lord hath sent me an angel.
