The next day we finally started cleaning up. Funnily enough, the house was near spotless. Natsu and Grey volunteered to do the cleaning, which I found odd.

Lucy and I were cooking food, along with keeping Emma entertained. But it just kept itching in the back of my mind.

"Hey Lucy. Don't you think it's weird that the boys decided to clean together?" I asked. "Well yeah. But they do kinda have an on off relationship." She shrugged. "I'm gonna go see how they're doing. I'm a little more than suspicious." I said, walking out.

I came onto the drawing room, where there were hisses inside. "Dude, you're being serious?" Natsu said. "Yes, I am." Grey sighed. It was quiet for a moment before I heard Happy and Natsu laughing.

"Grey's going soft!" Happy laughed. "He likes a girl!" Natsu laughed in hysterics. Mr eyes widened and I ran back to the kitchen to tell Lucy.

"Dude! You'll never guess what I just heard!" I squealed quietly. "Oh, what'd you just hear?" Grey's voice said coldly from behind me. I stiffened up and turned slowly to face him.

"What? Who said anything about me hearing something? Huh?" I pressed my lips together. "You. Just now." He narrowed his eyes at me.

"I need to speak to Lucy. Alone." I squeaked. "You can say anything in front of me. I don't get embarrassed easily." He shrugged. "C'mon! It's girl stuff!" I huffed. "I'm waiting." He hummed and I groaned, trying to think of a lie.

"There's a huge sale on shoes tomorrow! They've got boots, flats, heels, pumps. I'd love to get myself some pumps. Oh, and I think across the shoe store is a lingerie place, sands I've heard they have the cutest stuff! We should go tomorrow!" I said, suddenly remembering hearing about a sale.

"I'll go with you to get shoes, but I don't need any lingerie. But from your laundry, I'm pretty sure that's all you wear." Lucy giggled. "What? I have a deep love for cute lacy underwear shit!" I huffed. I stole a peek to see how Grey was doing, and he was blushing madly.

"What? Did you want to come too?" I asked and he shook his head just as Natsu and Happy came in. "What's happening? I don't know Grey could blush!" Natsu grinned. "Just asking him if he wanted to go underwear shopping with me tomorrow." I shrugged and went to help Lucy, but she was done.

We ate lunch, me rotating from feeding Emma to myself. Soon she was practically falling asleep at her plate.

"I'm gonna go put Emma to bed." I sighed, lifting her up. "Oh, I can do it." Grey offered. "No, Emma prefers Henley to do it." Lucy sighed. "Why?" Natsu asked. "Cos Henley can sing her to sleep." Lucy shrugged and I turned to glare at her before going to Emma's room.

I laid get down and tucked her in. "Ready?" I asked and she nodded.

To dungeons deep

I finished and Emma was sound asleep. "That was lovely." Lucy said and I turned around to see everyone there. "Oh fuck. Please tell me you didn't hear any of that." I sighed. "We heard every word." Happy nodded.

"I've never heard that song. Where's it from?" Grey asked. "A story I was told as a little girl." I sighed. "Ooh! I love stories!" Natsu said excitedly as we walked back to the kitchen.

"I'm not telling you a story, Natsu." I scoffed. "Aww, pretty please?" "No." "But why not?" Happy pouted.

"Because it's not a happy story." I hissed and went back to eating, not answering any more questions.
