Of Fire and Ice

The night we were at the resort. We didn't have time to do anything, so we all just feel dead asleep.

We had a suite with three rooms. One for Lucy and Erza to share, one for Natsu and Happy, and one for Grey and myself.

I woke up hugging Grey around his middle, and he with his arms hugging my shoulders. Ari was peacefully sleeping at the end of the bed.

We got up and dressed, me with my swimsuit I under my cropped top and booty shorts. I'm going to be honest right now. Literally the only type of shorts I own are booty shorts. I did a little makeup, and Grey seemed ready.

Ari walked out beside my feet add Grey and I walked hand in hand to get a bit of breakfast. None of the others were I the suite, so we thought they were down here. They were, and they saved us spots at the table. Natsu and Happy were stuffing their faces, as usual.

I realised that I was getting a lot of stares, cos holy fuck is that a dragon, but I happened not to care. I sat down next to Lucy, and Grey next to me, with Ari in my lap.

"God, how are you so heavy?" I sighed, scratching the top of her head with my index nail. Ari looked at me and smirked. "Payback bitch." "That doesn't make sense, I've never ridden you." I huffed, stabbing some sausage and starting to feed her.

As sheer ate some of my sausage and bacon, I cleared of the eggs and the rest of the meat. I then started cutting up pancake to feed her, but Ari refused to eat it unless it had syrup on it.

"Picky lizard." I sighed, making Ari get on the table to face me. "I'm a dragon! Not a lizard! You will do as I say or your world will burn to ash and rubble by my design!" Ari said, so I just smirked, leaned down, and blew a puff of fire in her face. Causing her to whimper and back up.

"Whatever you say fire lizard." I hummed and she scowled.

Soon after we were at the beach. Erza had towels rolled out and an umbrella set up for me. "Thanks, Erza." I smiled and she nodded. "This is a team vacation. It wouldn't be the same if you weren't here." She said and I smiled, my eyes tearing up a bit, but I was thankfully wearing sunglasses.

I watched them and others play in the water. Ari even went to go play with Happy and Plue. And I was under this umbrella, just watching.

This was my whole childhood right here. Either trapped inside our hiding in the shade and shadows so I wouldn't get hurt or die because of the stupid medium sized star in the sky we all rely on.

Ari usually stayed with me, but I know she had a mind of her own and can make her own decisions, and it would be wrong of me to hold her back for my own needs.

My thoughts were broken when the towel shifted beside me. I looked over and saw Grey smiling at me. "You looked lonely. Thought I could keep you company." He leaned over and pecked my lips quickly.

"Grey, you should be having fun with them in the sun." I sighed, shaking my head. "Who says I can't have fun with you?" He said and I blushed, taking the line way out of context.

"Just a suggestion, but you could join us in the water. Just for a few minutes." He hummed. "Grey, I'd blind everyone." I smirked. "What? With your beauty?" He laughed. "Come on, Henley. Take the shirt off, or do I have to take it off you?" He asked and my eyes widened.

Before I could even answer, he was lifting the hem of my shirt up, and I slowly raised my arms so he could take it off me. My shirt feel onto the towel, revealing a black strapless bikini top.

"Do I have to take those shorts off too?" Grey asked and I stood and took them off myself. Grey took my hand and leaf me towards the water, where the rest of the team were waiting. "Finally. We were wondering what was taking so long." Natsu said. "Oh you mean other than grey undressing Henley?" Happy said, flying while Ari chased him in the air.

I wanted to smack my team for that.
