About a month later, things were going really well. The antidepressants were kicking in and doing their job. The headaches and puking stopped, I was overall feeling better. And my team has most certainly noticed that I'm happier.

I was lying in my bed with Grey after making love. The sunlight was pouring through the window and I was staring at his face, looking at how different he looked now. His skin seemed more clear, fresher. His hair had hints of dark brown in its black colour. His eyes looked like wet pavement after rain. And his smile... was simply beautiful.

"What are you doing?" He asked and I spoke without thinking. "You're beautiful, Grey. I love you." I said and hugged him, hiding my face in his shoulder. "Oh, I love you too. And I don't know about the beautiful part." He chuckled and I felt it vibrate through him, which only made me hold on to him tighter.

He moved us so he was hovering over me. "Want to tell me what this is about?" He asked and I gazed up at him. "Am I not allowed to tell you I love you and say what I think about you?" I asked and he just blinked. He sat back and I sat up, my hand reaching behind his neck and tangled in his hair.

"You really think I'm beautiful?" He whispered and I nodded. "Every goddamn inch of you." I smiled and kissed him softly.

When I pulled back, he hugged me to him and we just stayed there. "Sing me a song." He whispered and I smiled.

We stayed in this position as long as we could in the silence. I closed my eyes and focused on Grey's heartbeat and his breathing. My fingers curled on his shoulder. "I love you." I whispered again. "I love you." He said back and we decided it was about time to get to the guild.

We had a few beers and in a split second, near everyone was knocked unconscious. Natsu was still a little awake when Jellal busted in. "What's wrong?" I asked, standing up suddenly. "New job. Can't wait. Come on. It's going to take a while. All the time we have is for you to pack a bit, then we have to go." He said and I nodded, getting Ari.

"Henley...?" Natsu said in confusion, but I didn't care. I flew to my house and packed a quick bag and flew back out and met Jellal and Ari.

"Natsu wasn't fully asleep." He said as we flew to God knows where. "I'll worry about him later. What are we doing?" I asked, readying myself.
