The guild was now boarded up so we could use the main hall again. I was hesitant to go in, but Grey took my hand along with Lucy and reassured me that everyone would be supportive.

But when I walked in, I was being screamed at. "Why are you holding hands with Grey?! Who are you?! You are not worthy of my Prince!" A blue haired girl screamed in my face, and Grey got her to back up.

"Calm down, Juvia!" Grey sighed and went over to stand by me again. "Sorry. She screams at near everyone." He shrugged. "I heard get call you get Prince." I smirked. "Huh? Oh." He groaned. "I thought I told you to stop calling me that!" He huffed.

"Juvia is in love with Grey, and he had absolutely no clue. But Natsu told me Grey likes this other girl in the guild." Lucy whispered in my ear. "Really who? I heard he liked someone when we all went on that house-sitting mission, but I never found out who." I hummed. "He didn't tell Natsu, so I don't know!" Lucy giggled.

"You two talking about Grey?" Juvia asked and I smirked. "Nah. Only that he likes some other girl." I shrugged and walked off to the bat to get a beer. "You're so evil!" Lucy squealed as she walked with me.

"Say, where's Ari?" Mira asked when we sat at the bar. "Hanging out with Happy and Natsu. Apparently they're a lot more fun than I am." I shrugged. "That's mean. She's your dragon, right?" Mira asked. "Well, I don't own her, she's not my pet. She's my best friend. Like my sister." I smiled with a shrug.

"You're like my sister too!" Ari said as she flew and landed on my back, claws digging in. "Wow, you've gotten heavy." I said in shock, almost falling over. "Sorry!" She said and got onto the bar and sniffed my beer. "Want some?" I asked. "No way! It smells bitter." She backed away from it.

"Oh, and Henley. Master found out about your curse. He's not happy that you killed him, but he understands." Mira said and I smiled before Grey came over and put his arm around my shoulders, hugging me to his always bandaged chest. "See? Told you they'd understand." He grinned.

"Are you sure you should be hugging me with your insane girlfriend over there?" I smirked and he fumed. "Juvia is not my girlfriend! I don't like her like that!" He groaned. "You sound like Natsu when we teased him for looking Henley. Besides, we've already heard you like another girl." Lucy said.

"Ooh yeah. Tell us who she is. I wanna know. I'm really good at keeping secrets." I smiled. "Only because you tested positive in pathology. Henley could be a psycho- or a sociopath." Ari spoke up and I had to restrain myself from hitting her. "Shut your mouth, lizard!" I groaned.

"Disregarding that, I'm not telling you. Besides, she probably doesn't like me anyway. She's so pretty, she could have any guy she wants." He sighed. "Is it Mira?" Lucy asked and he raised his brow. "No. Where'd that come from?" He asked.

"Oh you just said she was pretty, so I just thought of Mira." Lucy shrugged. "You're so kind, Lucy!" Mira hugged her.

I didn't want to jump to conclusions, but from the way Grey's been acting around me lately... I can't help but think... But I shouldn't get my hopes up in case it isn't me.

My thoughts were broken when Grey walked away taking his hand across my back. Lucy and Mira both smirked at me. "What?" I asked. "It's you." Lucy said in a whisper. "Huh?" I played clueless."

"Grey likes you, Henley!" Mira said and before I could even protest, Ari was yelling at them. "No way! That can't be! He knows full and damn well our Henley doesn't date!" She glared at them. "But maybe that's why he's holding back. Because he knows and he wants to see if she'll change her mind about dating or not." Lucy sighed dramatically.

"Is this really what girls talk about?" Natsu and Happy came over. "Natsu! We think Grey likes Henley!" Lucy said excitedly. "Seriously? That's insane. He doesn't like fire wizards." He laughed. So I punched him in the jaw.

"Fuck you, Natsu." I growled and turned back to my beer. "OW. You punch hard." He got up and rubbed his jaw. Which was now bruised, and I was proud of.

"What was that for?!" Ari yelled at me. I had no good answer for her. "Don't tell me you actually might like him back!" She said and I looked away. "Shut up, Ari. That's ridiculous." I rolled my eyes. "I've always been able to see through your lies, you traitor!" She huffed.

"How am I a traitor?" I asked. "We had an agreement! You want to break that agreement for a stupid boy?!" She huffed and I glared at her. "Hey! We don't even know if it's me he likes. And you can't tell me what to do with my life!" I huffed.

"You should honour our agreement!" "Well I'm not following it anymore! He doesn't care I'm a monster, at least I don't think so..." I fell quiet.

"Hen, we've talked about this. Monsters don't get happily ever after." She whispered and I nodded.

Monsters don't get happy endings.
