When I woke up in a hospital bed and Ari and Jellal were there. I lifted my head and Jellal pushed it back down. "You could get dizzy again and pass out, and that would be bad." He said and I sighed.

"But my neck hurts." I groaned and lifted myself up on my elbows and twisted my neck to crack it, once on each side.

"That's better." I hummed and sat up. Jellal gave me a look and I rolled my eyes. "I'm not going to pass out. So, how long have I been asleep?" I asked. "Just overnight. Nothing drastic. I already wrote the Master and told him you were injured." He said and I sighed. "It's a cut. So what?" I asked.

"You lost a lot of blood, Henley. Also, that sword could have been riddled with disease." He said and a man in a white coat walked in. "Ah Henley, you're awake." He said and I nodded. "Yep. So mind catching me up, Doctor." I said and he stood in front of me. "Well, we sterilised the wound and cleaned it as much as we could. We've just been waiting for you wake up to put stitches in." He said and I nodded.

"Guessing you want to do that now?" I asked and he nodded. "But first, how do you feel?" He asked and I tried not to scoff. "I feel fine." I said. "Okay. We gave you a blood transfusion, and most people feel sick or really odd afterwards." He said and I shrugged, but there was that pain in my right arm. "Gotta remember not to move that arm." I winced a little.

"That's a problem since you shrug a lot." Jellal said and I grinned. "Yeah." I nodded. The Doctor took my bandages off and a nurse came in with the supplies to sew me up.

I held onto the Doctor's sides as he instructed me to and I was actually surprised at how bad the wound looked. "Wow. That pirate dude knew what he was doing." I said in astonishment. "Pirate?" The Doctor asked.

"We were on a job, wizards, you see. We were fighting these pirates and really brute dudes, and one of them got me when I was finishing off three others." I sighed. "Do none of you know healing magic?" He asked. "I do, but I only know how to heal burns." I said and removed my hand from his side to show him I used fire magic. He nodded in understanding.

The stitching was done and a nurse brought in a sling. "Oh, do I have to wear that?" I groaned. "It helps you not move your arm so it can heal." She said and I nodded. She helped me get in it and Jellal and I walked out, me on Ari's back. We found out that the family we helped paid for all of my medical shit. A nurse leaned over the counter at us.

"They told us what you three did for them. We'd all like to thank you." She beamed. "It was nothing, really." I smiled, shaking my head. "But thank you." Jellal said and we walked out, heading back to Magnolia.

"It's been three days, I don't think a job would take her this long." I sighed. My teammates just looked over to me. "C'mon, be realistic. Jobs usually take about a day for her to complete." I said and they agreed.

I turned around in my seat and searched for the Master. "Hey Master, where's Henley?" I asked. He sighed and came over. "Because you are her team, I feel you should know. She got injured yesterday, so she checked into a hospital. She was just released and she should be coming back tomorrow." He said and my jaw dropped.

"Is she okay?" Lucy asked. "She's fine." He said and his grip tightened around a paper.
