After about a week of living with Lucy and spending my time in Fairy Tail, I've yet to take another job.

Apparently I've been accepted into a team. Lucy, Grey, Natsu, and Erza were already in the team, and they were considered the strongest team in Fairy Tail. But apparently they were considered even stronger now with another fire dragon wizard on the team.

I was sitting with Natsu and Lucy, just drinking a beer, and Loke came up to hit on me. He wouldn't go near Lucy because she was a celestial wizard.

"You're looking marvelous today, Henley." He said, leaning near me. I sighed and tried to ignore him. "C'mon, don't be like that. When are you gonna let me take you out, huh?" He asked.

I finally turned towards him, an idea in mind. "Say, Loke. What do you consider your best feature?" I asked. "My face." He said in confusion. "Right. Well, keep bothering me and I'll get my dragon to burn your face off. Better yet..." I held my hand up as flames danced on my fingertips. "I'll do it myself." I glared and he backed up and ran away.

I extinguished the flames and went back to drinking my beer. "Remind me to never ask you out for any reason ever." Natsu said and I laughed. "Nah, he was just being pushy. If it were a normal person, I would just kindly decline." I smiled over at him. "Glad to hear it." Natsu smiled and Grey came over, giving him a look. "Not that I was planning on asking you out for any reason ever!" He quickly added.

"Natsu, we've been over this. I don't like you, you don't like me. If this is true, why would you even think about asking me out?" I sighed, looking over at him. He didn't have an answer.

"Even if you did, I would still say no for two reasons." I hummed. "And what would those be?" Grey asked. "I don't date, and I hate the colour pink." I huffed, making him and Lucy laugh while Natsu sat there staring at me in shock.

I then caught sight of Mirajane going over to put up new ads for jobs. I downed my beer and walked over with a group, looking for something I could do.

"Oh, Henley! A letter came here for you. Apparently a man wants specifically you to do a job for him." She said and I walked over to the bar, getting the letter, ripping it open and reading over it.

"Oh hey it's that one dude! George Martins." I smiled happily. "Who?" Natsu asked. "The guy who got me to burn down the house? You were there, Natsu!" I huffed and he grinned. "Oh yeah! I liked that dude! But you only like him because he said you were pretty." Natsu teased. "I do not! I like him because he paid me four thousand extra jewels for nothing!" I snapped back.

Natsu came over to tease me more. "No, he raised the price two thousand, and then he said one thousand five hundred were because you impressed him with your stupid wings, and the other five hundred was because you're pretty." Natsu said. "Are you jealous that I have wings?" I smirked. "What? Psh. No." He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Yes you are! You wouldn't have called them stupid if you didn't have them, then!" I said and just to get on his nerves, I brought the dragon wings out. A beautiful leathery black against my white skin and hair.

"Okay, now you're just bragging." He scoffed. "You're at fault for pointing them out." I shrugged. "I did not!" "You did so!"

We kept arguing until Grey broke it up. "I didn't want to get in this, but dude. You called Henley pretty quite a few times there." Grey said and I smirked, looking at Natsu. "No I didn't! I was quoting the man! He called her pretty!" Natsu said. "Seems to me like you're agreeing with him." I smirked.

"Huh? But- why are you so infuriating?! I didn't mean anything by it!" He looked close to tearing his hair out.

I chuckled and went back to the letter. "Okay, he's going away for a bit and wants me to watch over his place in case... hah... in case anyone else tries to burn it down. Uh, oh! I can bring friends if I want in case I get lonely... there isn't a price yet... p.s. bring the friend you had with you last time, he's funny. P.s.s. being pretty pays extra." I read through, blushing a little.

"Okay, I'm going home with Lucy to pack. Natsu, Grey, be packed and ready by the time we're back." I said, tucking the letter in my pocket. "Why us?" Grey asked. "Well, I have to bring Natsu along, but he also said bring friends." I shrugged and lifted up Ari and walked out with Lucy.
