Grey and I went back to the guild the next day and Severus and Salazar flew and crashed into me. "Mom!" "Where were you?!" "We missed you!" They cried. I laughed and stroked their heads and down their spines. "Aw, boys. You know I'll always come back to you." I smiled and they cuddled up to me.

I felt a nudge at my back that almost made me fall over and I turned to see Ariadne. "And what about me?" "Ari, I love you like a sister. I'll always come back for you too." I said, putting my hand on her scaly cheek. She closed her eyes and leaned into me.

"Henley. Great timing. A letter just came for you!" Mira came over and handed me a slip of paper. The boys moved to my back so I was free to use my hands. "Is it from George?" I asked, then saw there was no sender written on it.

'Shadow Flame is rising again. They plan to take out you and your sister to finish off the Targaryens. You must stop them. They have made headquarters in the tallest mountain past the National Council and the Old Fort. Hurry.' I read and reread it over, my eyes wide.

Harley came up and read it, and we stared at each other. "I- I don't know what to do..." I stuttered. "Should we try to stop them?" Harley asked and I shrugged and nodded.

"Okay. Let's go pack." She said and I turned to my dragons. "I want you three to stay here. I don't want any of you hurt." I said. "Fuck that. I'm going with you." Ari said and I pressed my lips together and nodded. "Okay, boys, you stay here. This is dangerous." I said and they nodded. "Okay, mom." They said and I planted a kiss on their heads before turning to leave with Harley.

"Hey, where are you going?" Natsu walked up and asked, and I saw my team, along with Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Sting, and Rogue standing there. "Harley and I have been put on a hit list. Our parents old guild is rising again, and they plan on wiping out the Targaryens. We're stopping them." I said.

"Well, we're coming with you." Natsu said and we shook our heads. "No." We both said, and they all stared. "We're a team..." Natsu fought. "Natsu! They're not hunting Dragneels, or Fullbusters, or Scarlets, or even Heartfilias for that matter! Targaryens! Harley and I are the only ones left. Do you even remember how much magic energy I used to wipe them out the last time? I almost killed you guys as well. I'm not making that mistake again." I said and Grey shook his head.

"That doesn't matter. We're going to be there and help." He said. "Goddamn it, no!" I said. "Why don't you want us there?" Lucy asked. "Because emotion gets in the way of reasoning! Say one of you is kidnapped and held hostage by them. We can't destroy them because we care too much about one of you!" I said and it was silenced.

"We're a team, I get that. But Harley and I need to do this. Alone." I said, and tears popped up in my eyes and I turned and walked out, taking Harley and Ari with me.

We packed and left soon after, a pain in my chest with me.
