I apologize for taking too long to update, but here is the chapter. Enjoy!

INEZ

My hands have become cold with dread. I want to stop my mind from thinking about horrifying situations about what could happen after reaching the hospital, but my mind is running at a thousand miles per second. There is an unsettling feeling inside my stomach. What is about to happen? Why is Lorcan taking me to the hospital? What could be on his mind now? These questions are making it hard for me to stay calm. I know I made a mistake by escaping, but my bigger mistake is getting caught.

In all this, my tears continue to cascade down my cheeks. What I am feeling at this moment is difficult to put into words. The person who controls my life is sitting right beside me, and there is nothing I can do to stop what he has planned for me. I look towards Lorcan, and he is looking out silently. I wish there were a way for me to know what he is thinking at the moment. I want to ask him why we are going to the hospital. I want to beg him to spare me this once, but my words are stuck in my throat.

I wipe my tears and try to brace myself for what is about to come.

We reached Lorcan's destination quicker than I expected. Maybe time flies a lot faster when you don't want it to. The driver stops the car at the entrance, and Lorcan gets out immediately. I don't follow him; instead, I continue to be where I am. I don't know what is in my mind at the moment, but maybe, maybe, I can prevent what he has planned for me. Lorcan comes towards my side and opens the door for me. I neither move nor look at him. My hands are shaking so badly that I have to clutch my dress tightly so he would not notice.

"Inez, come," Lorcan said to me coldly. I don't answer. I don't know what to do at this point. My heart is hammering inside my chest. The fear is so much that it is becoming hard to breathe. I want something to happen, anything that could save me.

"Inez, you are forcing me to drag you inside. My patience is running thin." This time, he said impatiently, with anger lacing his tone. I gather up my courage and look at him with tears in my eyes, in the hope that he would listen.

"I don't want to go inside. Please, let's just go home." My voice came out cracked and not more than a whisper. I don't know why I thought my tears could melt him when they never did.

"Now it is your home too. Why did you not think of it as your home when you took a step out of the church? If it had been your fucking home, then you would have never left it in the first place. Now get the fuck out before I have to drag you." He seethed.

I still don't listen. I was thinking of saving myself from this when Lorcan sighed and stretched his arm. I tried to move away from him, but he grabbed my arm and forced me out of the car. I cried out at his harsh grip on my arm, but he paid no heed.

He started dragging me towards the hospital. "Lorcan, stop. Please, I don't want to go inside." I tried stopping him by grounding my feet and hitting his arm, but nothing helped. Just when I started screaming for help, and people started looking at us, he stopped and turned to look at me with a glare that immediately killed my voice. In his eyes, I saw a warning and unsaid threat, and that was enough to make me quiet.

I silently followed him and let him take me wherever he wanted. We went inside the lift and then stopped in front of a door. This whole time, Lorcan did not speak a word. Guilia Mattia is written on the door, and underneath is written, Gynecologist. Why have we come to a gynecologist? Lorcan opens the door without knocking and takes me inside.

The doctors were surprised to see us, but then relaxed when she looked at Lorcan.

"Lorcan Gatchel. Credo che la dottoressa Andrea ti abbia già parlato del motivo per cui sono qui." Lorcan says to her coldly. I look between the doctor and Lorcan, afraid of what he is talking about. (Lorcan Gatchel. I believe Doctor Andrea has already talked with you about what I am here for)
