CHAPTER: 20

"What do you think? This blue and black one or this red and black one?" Tanong ko kay Eli. Nandito kami ngayon sa isang cake shop. We're passing the design of the cake para sa birthday ni Lean. It's almost his birthday at ngayon pa lang kami nagpa-plano. The venue would be at Blue Leaf. We still haven't checked out the reservations pero dadaan kami doon mamaya. 

"Parang mas gusto ni Lean ang blue?" Tumango ako sa kanya. Sa tingin ko rin ay mas gusto ni Lean ang blue. Pinili ko ang kulay na blue at black para sa cake ni Lean. Hinayaan ko na si Elijah na mag design sa cake dahil hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga type ng mga lalaki, though, bata pa si Lean but I know Elijah knows everything about boys. Ang tanging naiisip ko lang ay design na mga kotse then that's it. "You were seen by my friend yesterday." 

Napahinto ako sa pagpapanuod sa kanya mamili ng designs. "Friend? Sino?" Damn. 

"Mags, sabi niya ay kasama mo si Rome. Is that true?" Pinaglaruan ko ang mga daliri ko at tumingin sa kanya. Busy pa rin ang mga mata niya sa pamimili ng designs. 

"Yes. We went out for breakfast at sinamahan niya rin ako tumingin ng mga tela. Is there a problem with that?" I know it's wrong. I kind of promised them not see Rome for at least a month. Pero sorry, they can't blame me. 

"I thought you're dating Calvin?" Kaunti na lang ay mababaliw na talaga ako. Hindi ko alam kung saan nila nakukuha iyon. Yes, lumalabas ako kasama ni Calvin but that doesn't mean that there is something going on between us. 

"We're not dating, Eli." Im trying to avoid these kind of topics. Sobrang hindi ko alam kung ano ang sasabihin ko dahil mababaliw na ako! 

"Bakit kayo lumalabas? Your Mom said that you went to a rave party with him." Tumingin na siya sa akin ngayon pero umiwas rin kaagad. Stop pushing me to Calvin, dahil kahit anong pilit niyo ay hindi ko siya magugustuhan. 

"That doesn't mean we're dating. Lumalabas kami dahil magkaibigan kami, the hell, all friends do that!" 

"Why can't you like Calvin?" Damn it. 

"Because I can't and I won't!" Tinignan ko siya at inirapan. "Tigilan niyo na ako, please. Why can't I love someone who I love? You guys are being unfair! Palagi na lang ako, lahat ng problema ako! Do you really think I can handle all your problems? I have problems that needs to be solved too! But I can't! Dahil laging kayo ang inuuna ko because if I can't solve your problems right away, then you guys will put all your hates on me!"
