Taken its toll

*Alfies point of view*

We lay there in silence for about 10 minutes, Elise had stopped crying and just lay exausted. I felt angry and sad and I wanted to hold her and never let her go. It wasn't fair that she had to suffer like this. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes, I didn't say anything I just looked at her red eyes blotchy cheeks and yet still stunning. She looked down and said ' Don't worry Alf it was a one off..'

'Don't lie to me Elise' I said choking on my tears 'we had an agreement you would always tell me when it gets bad you know that' I covereed my face with my hands unable to hold back the tears

*Elises point of view*

I couldn't bare it Alfie was crying and it was awful he never cried 

'Alife' I sobbed 'please don't worry. please don't cry' I said through my tears

'How can you expect me not to' he shouted I was taken a back he must have seen me shrink back 

because he blow out air and coughed ' I am sorry, but you promised me Elise. You promised' 

At that moment he stood up whiping his eyes 'er I am going to go down to the pool, see you down there' he grabbed a rolled up towel and shorts

I lay back crying covering my mouth as he slammed the door

I had to go back, I had to appologise hold her tightly and say it would be okay that.. and that I loved her. But if I went back I wouldn't stop crying and I wasn't going to let that happen. I shook my head and walked down the corridor
