Hey, guys.

It's been a long week.

A really long week.

My nine-month-old got a virus (cold-like symptoms but not COVID or flu) and an ear infection. She is finally on the mend, thankfully.

My ten-year-old dog ran away due to the fireworks on the Fourth of July and was missing for nearly six days before we found her alive and well.

And just as things were starting to settle and get better, my husband got sick and is currently in the thick of it.

So yeah... no chapter this week. I did not have the mental bandwidth to deal with all of that and write a new chapter. It's been started, but it's not even halfway done. Depending on how next week goes, I might need to break next weekend, too, just to get my feet back under me. I hope you guys can be patient with me. I'll leave you with the promise that soon (like probably chapter 112), there will be another 🍋 scene for those of you Wattpad girlies who look forward to that most. 🤭😉I see my view count on those particular chapters double compared to everything else. (It's okay. I'm one of those Wattpad girlies, too, lmao)
