I wrung out the water from my tank top the best I could as I walked through the sea cloud towards the sound of my crewmates' laughter. Begrudgingly, I inwardly thanked Nami for insisting on making me wear a swimsuit.
The solid cloud under my feet had a soft and spongy quality to it. It felt nice under my bare feet, even as the sea cloud floating on top of it made my shins feel wet as I walked through it.
As I got closer to everyone's cheerful voices, I heard the navigator snickering, "Take a tumble, Kaori?"
I huffed in annoyance at her, "Yeah, yeah, you were right. Happy?"
Nami's voice grew smug as she lowered her voice, "Not as happy as Zoro, I bet."
My brow furrowed, and I scowled, "The hell is that supposed to mean?"
"Oh, nothing!" She cheerfully dodged the question. I started to say something, but stopped myself, deciding it was not worth the potential argument.
Sanji let out a shout as he ran up to me, "Oh, Kaori! You look absolutely stunning!"
I groaned as I walked past the chef, "Thanks, Sanji."
Zoro caught up with me and continued up onto the beach. He did not say a word as he walked past me, but I could sense the irritated frown on his face.
Before I could call out to him to ask him what was wrong, Chopper ran up to me with an excited voice, "Kaori! Do you wanna play?"
A grin curled my lip as I put my hands on my hips, "Sure, I'm down."
With an excited giggle, he quickly patted my arm, "Tag! You're it!" The little reindeer scampered away, laughing brightly.
I chuckled and shook my head, "Oh, you're in for it now!" I took off running after him as he squealed to Luffy and Usopp to save him.
The four of us ran up and down the beach, nearly tackling each other into the shallow sea cloud. The novelty of the game quickly wore off, however, as Luffy started to cheat by stretching to tag us. Usopp began to berate the rubber man for his unsportsmanlike behaviour. Chopper backed him up, shouting indignantly.
I sighed and shook my head with a smile. As they began to squabble, I decided to call it quits and go join Zoro on the beach.
I combed my hair back with my fingers as I walked up to my boyfriend, "Hey."
He huffed softly, seeming amused, "Hey, yourself. You looked like you were having fun out there."
I chuckled as I sat down on the plush cloud beside him, "Yeah, a bit," I sighed as I leaned back and placed my hands on the ground behind me, "But I can only handle so much of those guys' antics."
My boyfriend chuckled at that, and we fell into a comfortable silence. I tilted my chin up to feel the sun on my face as I smiled, "Man, what a crazy day. Sky Island is like a wild dream but come to life. Who knows what we'll find here? So far, this place is perfect."

Kaori grew quiet with a serene smile on her face. I leaned back against the tree behind me as I kept my gaze on her. Her clothes were still wet from running around in the sea clouds, clinging to her skin. Her white tank top barely concealed anything now, and the green bikini top stood out clearly through the wet fabric.
It took everything I had not to say something. She looked so hot, but I did not want to fluster or embarrass her. Normally, when I could not put my thoughts into words, I would let my actions do the talking. However, I did not trust myself to act appropriately at this moment either. Instead, I opted to stay quiet and enjoy the view as my girlfriend enjoyed this peaceful day on the beach.
