Stephanie's P.O.V.

Miles and I walk to central park in silence. After walking a little around the park in a silence that is deafening, I finally speak up.

"Today at the coffee shop. You said something that really bothered me." I admit.

"What was it?" Miles asks even thogh we both know.

"You were telling me how to get over Harry and then...you said to trust you, that you knew. It sounded like you were saying you've had experience with this stuff..." I trail off, hoping for him to jump in.

Miles sighs. "High school. Her name was Rosemary. We were in love. Or so I thought." Miles sounds pained when he talks. I wonder if this is how I sound when I talk about Harry. "Let's just say it didn't end well. Can we please not talk about it?"

"Yeah." I say.

"What's with the sudden need for the hair change? Not that it doesn't look great, because it does." Miles asks.

"I wanted something different. I needed a change, to feel like I could finally control something, you know?" I explain.

Miles nods. "It's different but I like it."

I start to thank him when my phone rings. I pull it from my pocket and see Ally's name flash across the screen.

"It's Ally, do you mind if I take this?" I ask.

"No, go ahead." Miles nods.

I press 'accept' and hold the phone to my ear. "Hello?"

"Steph!" Ally sounds releaved.

"Is everything okay?" I ask, then rethink that question. "Are YOU okay?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm not going home soon but I got moved to a nice room in the maternity ward." Ally says. "Nevermind me, I've got some news."

"Ally if it's about Harry, I really can't handle it at the moment. I've finally got to this really good place..." I warn.

"Um, you're going to want to know this." Ally assures me.

"Okay, go ahead." I sigh.

"He's on his way there." Ally blurts.

"On his way where?" I ask. "Because I know you don't mean here as in New York here."

"But I do..." Ally says.

"Did you tell him where to find me?!" I ask, raising my voice. I glance at Miles who raises his eyebrows in question.

"No! I wouldn't. But he does know where you're living." Ally says.

"How would he find that out! You're the only one who knows!"

"I promise I didn't tell him! Gemma just texted me and said they were on the way to New York and that Harry knew exactly where he was going!" Ally explains.

"Are you serious? Because if this is some sosrt of a sick joke..." I trail off.

"It's not I promise." Ally says. "I've got to go, the doctors here. I'll let you know anything I find out."

The line goes dead. I numbly shove the phone into my pocket and then turn to Miles, not even caring we've stopped walking in the middle of the sidewalk.

"He's coming here." I state simply.

"He's coming here?" Miles asks.

"He's coming here." I answer, nodding my head.

"New York is a big place...he'll never be able to find you." Miles sounds like he's trying to assure himself.

"He knows where my apartment is." I say.

"How could he possibly know that?!" Miles asks.

"It's Harry." I answer.

"What are you going to do?" Miles asks.

"I don't know, but I do know I can't go to that apartment." I sigh.

"You could come stay with me..." Miles suggests.

"Miles, I couldn't do that!" I protest.

"Actually you could." Miles says. "He wouldn't find you with me and I have an extra bedroom."

"Are you sure?" I ask. If Harry finds me with Miles, he'll kill Miles.

"I'm positive." Miles nods.

"Well in that case, mission hide from Harry is a go." I joke but neither of us find it funny.
