Stephanie's P.O.V.

Ten minutes of pacing later, I know I counted every second, and Miles is still not back yet. The silence is killing me. I pace into the kitchen and something catches my eye in the wall. It's a cabinet, shorter than a panrty, and taller than a lazy suzan. I pull open the door and I'm greeted by a gigantic stereo system. looking up, I see little speakers on the ceiling. There's a black cabel hanging out of the stereo, so I grab my phone and plug one end of the cable into my phone, the other end stuck into a power hole in the stereo. A button glows red, the only thing lit up on the whole stereo. I press it and the rest of the thing lights up. There must be at least 200 buttons and knobs all backlighted in red. I go into my music on my phone, select a song randomly and press play. The song comes out softly through the speakers, and I twist the dial on the stereo until it's blaring out at maximum volume.

The song I picked was "Wildest Dreams" By Taylor Swift. It's a great song but it's not exactly what I was going for. I start pacing again, the music distracting me slightly. I redo my hair, pulling it up into a high ponytail so it's off my back, and then I select "Young Volacanoes" By Fall Out Boy. I start pacing again, softly humming the song while it pounds in my ears. I pace through the song, the next one coming on happens to be "Footloose". I've always loved this song, so I start singing the lyrics quietly.

Once I've paced into the living room, I realize that absolutely no one can hear or see me, so I start dancing right as the lyrics kick in. I kick my feet out and do the arm motions I learned one year when I was on dance team in highschool.

"Your playin so cool, obeyin every rule!" I sing along, clapping and kicking and shaking my head to the music.

When "If your gonna cut loose..." comes on, I hop up on thed coffee table and commence to full on rocking out. I dance through that song and sseven more before one of my favorites, "I Can Feel It" By Hey Violet comes on. I pick up the TV remote and start singing into it.

"WE GO WHERE WE GO DO WHAT WE WANT!" I yell into the remote. "ARE YOU FEELIN WHAT IM FEELING CAUSE ITS REALLY FEELIN RIGHT!"

I shout out the rest of the song, making up my own little dance. Then I hear a slow clapping right as the music cuts off, and my playlist ends. I look over to the door and see Miles. He scares me, so I jump, shriek and throw the remots all at once.

"Oh gosh." I scramble off the coffee table and pick up the remote.

Miles bursts out laughing as I run a hand over my disasterous hair which I'm sure has all fallen out of my ponytail by now, and to top it all off I'm sweating like crazy.

"I'm so sorry." I apologize.

"It's okay, that was awesome." He laughs.

"It was embarresing. I got bored waiting alone with my thoughts and I found your stereo system..." I trail off as he doubles over with another bout of laughter.

"It's not funny!" I pout as another song comes on. "You Don't Love Me Like You Should" By Hey Violet, they'er my new obsession.

"ENCORE ENCORE!" Miles chants, handing me back the remote.

I grab it, hop back up on the coffee table, and hold the remote to my mouth right as the chorus comes on.

"YOU BETTER WAKE UP SOON AND REALIZE CAUSE I FEEL MISUNdERSTOOD YOU DON'T LOVE ME LIKE YOU SHOULD!" I shout along with the lyrics throwing my arms around and doing some more headbanging.

Miles looks like he's about to fall over with laughter and I can't help but laugh too, still choking out the lyrics.
