Harry's P.O.V.

Stephanie disappears up the steps and I lean against the wall. Maybe I won't talk to her parents at all. I'm not going to be that lucky though. I hear rustling around in the room beside me, and hear footsteps.

"Who's in here?" I hear a guys voice say. Must be Steph's dad.

"It's just me sir, I'm your daughters boyfriend," I say and hold out my hand to him.

He doesn't shake it, so I just awkwardly put my hand in my pocket.

"What the hell are you doing in my house?" He says angrily.

"Stephanie is going to grab some clothes," I shrug.

"Stephanie is not supposed to set foot in this house when I am here, much less with her idiotic boyfriend," Steph's dad says.

I have to take deep breaths to keep myself from socking him, "What is your problem?"

"Your nosey boy, you know that. My problem is that my daughter is dating some hoodlum and is going to throw her life away to be a writer!" He yells.

"There is a lot wrong with that statement sir. First of all, I am not a hoodlum," I roll my eyes at him, " Second of all, you need to understand, it was my fault she wanted to be a writer. I convinced her to do it, because I want her to do what makes her happy. I don't want her to be miserable for the rest of her life doing something she doesn't like. I want her to live life to the fullest," I say.

"Boy, what makes you think you know so much about what makes her happy?" He says.

"Because she has told me! She loves to write, why do you think she is on her f****** laptop all the time!?"

"Listen up kid, you may think you know what you are talking about what you don't. You think your some wise guy but your not. And you DEFINITELY do not know what is best for my daughter. Now get out of my house you bastard!" He yells and points towards the door.

I laugh at his use of words and walk out the door. Before shutting it, I smile at him. He frowns at me and walks away. I don't understand how such a terrible person could make such a wonderful girl. And from what I hear, her mum is worse.

All these thoughts go through my mind as I wait for Steph to come out. I don't have to wait long, she comes out five minutes after the ordeal. She holds a handful of clothes, I guess she doesn't want to come back here anytime soon.

We walk out to the car and get in. I tell her the whole story and she becomes very mad.

"Why would my dad say that to you. He's the one who doesn't understand!" She yells.

"It's okay Steph," I say.

"It's not okay Harry!" She starts crying, "He freaking called you so many bad names, you don't deserve it. After all that you've been through," She sobs.

"I'm fine Steph, you don't have to worry about me," I grab her hand.

"Yes I do Harry. I need to help you. I need to-"

"Stephanie stop it. Your the one who needs help right now, not me," I say.

"Harry..no.." Her voice trails off.

We reach my house and I pull into the driveway. I get out of the car and go to the passenger side. I open the door and help Steph out. I lift her up off the ground and she wraps her legs around my waist. She buries her face in my shoulder, still silently crying.

I rub my hand up and down her back and keep telling her that it is going to be okay. She finally stops her crying and kisses me.

"I love you Harry, your so good to me," She says, a tear still running down her cheek.

"I love you too, Steph," I whisper, "Can we go in now, we really should get going...."

"Yeah," She says and climbs to the ground.

We walk in the house and Steph heads to the bathroom to wash her face off and calm down some more. I go and sit down on the couch where Niall is already sitting.

"What happened?" He tilits his head.

"I'll tell you another time. What's important now is that we make Stephanie's day a good one, okay?"

"Will do," Niall replies.
