Stephanie's P.O.V.

I smack Harry's hand off of my shoulder, and storm up to our chair. I collect my bag with my book in it, sling it over my shoulder, and stomp off up the beach. There's a bar up the beach a bit, sitting open to the ocean. It comes into my vision. They have bar stools sitting right in the sand. I hop up, perching on one of them.

"What can I get you today?" A young guy with blonde hair and a blue polo asks, coming up from behind the bar.

"Um, can I get a pina colada?" I ask.

        "ID?" He asks.

"Fine. Make it a virgin." I snarl. He backs up slowly and makes me a Pina Colada and sets it in front of me. When I take a sip, I realize he didn't make it virgin, thank god.

I pull out my book and soon finish it, leaving me crying with my head laid on the counter. Partly from Harry and partly from the ending of the book. It's been two and a half hours since I came here.

"Um, ma'am we're getting ready to close for lunch...." A different bartender says, coming up and tapping me on the shoulder.

"Oh, wow I'm sorry." I sniffle, my voice thick from crying. "Is my makeup running?"

He pulls a face which lets me know it is. Great. I pack my stuff up into my bag and hop down from the bar, having absolutely no idea where to go.

I pick up my phone and dial Ally's number.

"Steph? Hello?" She says when she answers.

        "Hey." I say.

        "Where are you?" She asks.

"At that little bar two complexes past the second volleyball court." I sniffle. "Will you come meet me please?"

"Yeah, stay right there. I'll meet you there in like five minutes." She says.

"And Ally?" I say, "Don't bring Harry yeah?"

"Yeah." She says and hangs up.

True to her word, five minutes later she is standing in front of me, arms spread open wide. I rush into her arms, trying not disturb the other beach goers with my sobbing.

"Shh, it's okay." She says. "Harry told me what happened."

"Oh great. He probably filled you with lies." I say, pulling back.

"He said he was taking a picture with some girls for a bridal shower when you showed up. Then you just flipped on him, without giving him a chance to explain." Ally says as I untangle myself from her arms.

"Great, so you're taking his side." I cross my arms, staring at her.

"I'm not taking anyone's side." She calls after me as I stomp away.

I walk back to the condo, and unlock it with my key that I actually brought with me. Then I storm into Harry and I's room. I obviously can't go back down to the beach, so I'm going to go to Lulu's. It's a restaurant/bar.

I put another Nicholas Sparks book into my bag, "The Lucky One" and then pull a pair of denim shorts on over my swimsuit bottoms. I slide into my black flip flops, and head towards the door.  I walk all the way to Lulu's, an entire mile, and then get a seat on one of the picnic tables on the deck. The deck isn't raised at all, it just separates the inside of the restaurant from the giant sand area of volley ball nets, hoola hoops, a sand mound, some plastic balls, and water buckets that dump into each other and continuously recycle the water.
