"I rolled my bike pass your house at least a thousand times
No matter what I do I just can't get you off my mind
All the guys in the neighbor hood they wanna know your name
Well it's too bad that they can't talk to you cause their too late
I wish you and me
Baby I can walk you home from school
Or hang out baby that'll be cool
I wish you and me
I was hoping maybe I can hold your hand
I just wanna be your man." Lil Corey~ Soilder
__________________"All your getting is junk?" I asked Javon as I pushed the cart down the Walmart aisle we were grocery shopping for his house yet he wasn't getting actual groceries.
"Hush Jo I got this." I rolled my eyes. I walked down the cold aisle which I hated. I began rubbing my arms as I grabbed a gallon of milk.
"Javon?" I heard a female voice say causing me to turn around.
She was wearing a black crop top black tights and all black huraches with her hair curly. She was gorgeous. I began to feel insecure as I saw her eyes light up when she saw my Javon. I walked back and slowly placed the milk in they cart. She payed me no attention as she took in his presence.
"Wassup?" He asked I could tell he didn't recognize her.
"You don't remember me? It's Stacy...from school." I quietly gasped because I knew exactly who she was.
"You wanna come to my house for a little while?" Nicki asked Aliyah as we walked outta school at dismissal.
"Yeah Javon's having friends over anyways." We nodded as we held hands and waited by the tree for Javon.
I saw him walking besides a girl with his arm draped around her shoulder. I couldn't tell what they were saying but he looked happy. He smirked at her before walking towards us. I looked down and pushed my glasses further on my face.
"Who was that?"
"Oh her? That's Stacy she so fine man." He said looking back to her and smiling.
"Oh"
"Jay I'm going to Jo's house after school since your friends coming over so tell mama." He nodded
We got home and me Nicki and Aliyah raced to my porch while Javon went into his house.
A few hours later Aliyah was tired so I was gonna walk her home.
"Bye Liyah tell your mama I said call me." My mom said as we walked to the door.
"Okay" Aliyah yelled back.
We walked out the door and walked over to her house which was next door. We walked into her house and I could see the patio door open. Aliyah had already ran upstairs but I wanted to say bye to Javon. As I walked closer to the door I could hear talking.
"So you wanna go to the dance with Stacy?"
"Duh man everybody at school likes her so why wouldn't I go with her?"
"Everybody think you like Jojo. Do you?"
"Ew Nooo Nene's just my bestfriend she's like my sister I mean she's cool and all but Stacy's beautiful."
"Aye so Jojo ain't beautiful?"
"I mean she's a cute I guess but she ain't no Stacy." I saw them nod and clap him up. I backed away from the door and bit my lip. I turned around and ran towards the door by the time I got there I could hear him calling my name.
"Journey?" He yelled but I didn't stop I couldn't.
I went into my house and ran to my room. I buried my face in my pillow and cried myself to sleep.
