3 months Later
Journey
It's been 3 months since the birth of Jayden and nothing has changed. I still feel numb and I still want my Jayden. Today is the day I would've been giving birth to my son and I haven't gotten outta bed. Tomorrow was my birthday and I know I wouldn't be in the mood to do anything.
"Mommy!" Jaylen said running into my room.
"Hey baby." I said sitting up and giving him a smile. I wasn't in the best moods but With Jaylen I was always happy.
"Somebody's at the door." He said he said hitting my sheets.
"Alright alright." I got up and walked slowly downstairs. I opened the door to see Javon.
"Wassup?" He said giving me a weak smile.
"Nothing how are you."
"I could be better but you know..." I nodded. I heard my phone ringing from upstairs so I put one finger up telling Javon to wait while I walked upstairs to get my phone.
I looked at it to see a private number. I scrunched my eyebrows together because that was weird.
"Hello?" Nothing.
I could hear faint breathing and I could tell it was a man by the way he let out his breaths. I just hung up because I wasn't in to mood for prank calls. As soon as I put my phone down it rung again. Same number.
"Hello?!" Nothing.
I began to hear the sound of a baby crying and then silence. Before I could say anything I heard the dial tone.
"What the hell?" I mumbled to myself. I was on my way back downstairs when it began to ring again. I became infuriated as I stalked back to the room and answered the phone.
"Listen motherfucker I'm not in the mood for this shit so stop calling my fucking phone."
"Damn who pissed in your cappuccino?" Kenya said through the phone. I sighed.
"I'm sorry somebody playing with me...wassup."
"Well I know what today is and I want to spend the day with you." I could basically hear her smiling from ear to ear.
"Spend the day where exactly?"
"I don't know get our nails and hair done eat maybe hit the mall."
"I don't know Ken."
"Well you need to know you been cooped up in this house for the longest so let's do something to cheer you up." I let out a deep breath.
"Alright fine."
"Good send Jayden with the babydaddy and I'll be there in a hour. Look pretty!"
"Alright girl."
I sighed and jogged back downstairs. I smiled when I seen Javon tossing Jaylen in the air with Jaylen laughing his butt off. It was a beautiful sight.
"Jay."
"Yes mommy?"
"Wassup" they both said at the same time. I laughed and shook my head.
"Big Jay."
"Wassup?" He chuckled.
"Can you take Jaylen for the day Kenya wanna hang out for the day." He nodded.
"Where yall going."
"To mind our business damn." I said walking upstairs.
"Get him dressed and pack his bag." I yelled over my shoulder.
