A Risky Plan

Me: Well.... I need you to develop some kind of relationship with her. Just ask her to dinner.
Danny: I will not!
Me: What's that supposed to mean? You got a problem with my sister?
Danny: No but up until 5 minutes ago, you did!
Me: Danny, come on. Please?
Danny: You know what Steve? You kill me!
Me: So that's a yes?
Danny: Just shut up Steven.
Danny walked out and back to the others.
Danny's POV:
Chin: What'd he want?
Danny: He wants me to ask out his sister so she'll stay here.
Chin: And you're gonna do it?
Danny: What choice do I have?
Just then Steve walked out of his office.
Immediately, Kono and Catherine walked up to him.
Kono: That's just cold brah.
Catherine: You can't do that to a girl. It would crush her if she found out.
Steve: Relax. She won't find out, will she?
When he said that he looked at me.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
Me: You anger me! To the greatest extent! I could kill you!
Steve: I believe you have something to do?
I groaned and headed for the door.
I walked to my car and drove to the beach closest to here. When I got out, I saw her out there surfing. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. I mean, she was pretty attractive. I leaned up against my car while I waited on her to finish surfing.
Jesse's POV:
Oh God, that blonde guy's back. What could he possibly want? I rode in and got off my board. I dragged it up to the sand and stuck it in. I walked up to the guy... What was his name? Danny! That's right.
Me: Um, can I help you?
Danny: Uh yeah, um so I thought since you're new here and you don't know all the good places to eat, that I could take you somewhere?
I smiled.
Me: Um, sure! I could eat.
Danny: Ok so I'll pick you up at 8?
Me: Sure. It's the Hilton. Room 1246.
Danny: Ok well I guess I'll see you then.
Me: Bye.
I wave and walk back out to the waves. I went back to surfing and left at about 4 to go buy myself some clothes for the short time I'd be in Hawaii and get ready. I shopped for an hour and a half then I showered and scrunched my hair. I put on a loose, sheer white semi crop and a pair of short shorts with some sandals. At 8, Danny was there to pick me up. He drove me to a restaurant on the beach called Kamekona's shrimp. It was owned by a huge Hawaiian man who reminded me of a teddy bear.
Kamekona: Yo brah! Who's dis you got with you?
Danny: This is Jesse Steve's sister.
Kamekona: McGarrett's got a sister? Dis is news to me!
Danny: Yeah well it's news to all of us big guy.
Kamekona: Ah I see. Well howzit, sista?
Me: Um... It's good I guess!
Kamekona: What can I get fo you young lady?
Me: Spiciest thing you got.
Kamekona: I like dis girl.
Danny: Yeah probably not the smartest thing you've ever done.
Me: What?
Danny: Trust me you better have a stomach of steel to eat what you ordered.
Me: I've had Lieutenant Granger's fried chicken in which he puts 3 bottles of Texas Pete so I think I can handle it.
I chuckle.
Danny walks over to a table and sits down. I stand there still talking to Kamekona. Suddenly, someone taps on my shoulder. It's a tall muscular guy with dark hair.
Guy: I couldn't help but to see how amazing you look.
Me: Oh yeah?
Guy: Yeah look my hotel, it's the Waikiki Inn and Suites room 561.
I didn't notice it but Danny is now beside me.
Guy: Um can I help you?
Danny: (chuckling) Can you help me? No, no. I think a better question would be can I help you?
Guy: I don't need your help because I just got a beautiful girl who is coming over to my hotel room so go stalk someone else closer to your age old guy.
Danny laughs.
Danny: I don't think you realize what a mistake you're making.
Guy: Look if you have problem, we can settle this right here.
Danny: Alright let's settle it.
Danny spins the guy around and cuffs him.
Guy: What the heck?!?!
Danny: Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Detective Danny Williams of the Five-0 Task Force.
Guy: Look man, I wasn't tryna start a fight I swear!
Girl: Wjat are you doing with my boyfriend?
Danny: (chuckling again) Did you just say your boyfriend?
I walked up to the guy and without even thinking about it, I swung a punch at him. I hit him so hard he almost fell over.
Me: That'll teach you to mess with a girl.
I walk away to the table and While Danny uncuffs him. Then he walked over and sat down. Kamekona brought our food out.
Kamekona: That was intense, sista.
Me: Well that guy was basically disrespecting that poor clueless girl and I got mad.
Danny: Ok enough talking let's eat.
Kamekona: See ya, brah.
Danny picks up his fork and starts eating. I pick up mine and eat the whole plate without a sip of a drink.
Danny: Now that's impressive. You must really have a stomach of steel. Me: Yeah pretty much.
We finished out the rest of dinner making small talk. He told me about his daughter, Grace, and everything else. I had to admit, I was a little excited to meet her. He said she was on a competitive cheer team and I was on one when I was her age, too. He told me that she would be at HQ tomorrow because her mom had a trip with her husband, Stan, and they were leaving tomorrow. After dinner, Danny dropped me off and I went inside. I watched TV for a while then went to sleep.
Danny's POV:
The date wasn't actually that bad. In fact it went really good. Jesse was really fun, too. The only thing that worried me was how she reacted when that guy hit on her. I hoped for my sake that she didn't find out that I was only taking her to dinner because Steve told me to. Even though that was the case, I felt a small tingling sensation in my body. It was weird. It was almost like... No no no... This couldn't be happening... I thought I was developing feelings for her.
