I called Danny after I was ready. I swung by the hotel to get him.
Danny: Wow you look amazing!
Me: Thanks so do you.
We drove to the little wedding chapel and parked. We walked inside. The preacher was waiting for us.
Preacher: Ok are you guys ready?
Danny: yep.
We went through all of the ceremony. Finally it came to the part where we said "I do."
Preacher: Jesse do you take Danny to be your husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; and promise to be faithful to him until death do you part?
Me: I..
I'm cut off by the church door opening. There stood Jason. He ran up to me and pulled something out of his jacket. It was a gun. He aimed it at Danny.
Jason: This is why I'm here. I'm here to save you from making the biggest mistake of your life.
Me: Jason what are you doing?
Jason: I'm going to kill him for what he did and take you with me.
Me: What did he do?
Jason: He fed information about where you are to middle eastern terrorists. And something else.
Me: How do you know that?
Jason: The two guys who I had following you as protection were also watching everyone you were around. When they looked at his computer history, they found what he sent to them.
I turned to Danny.
Me: Is that true?
Danny: No way! Jesse you have to believe me. I would never put your life in danger. I love you!
Me: I do believe you.
I kicked the gun from Jason's hands and picked it up. I aimed it at him.
Me: Jason. He didn't do it.
Jason: Then who did? We traced it to his computer.
Danny: Gabriel Waincroft.
Me: Who?
Danny: Chin's dead wife's brother. He's a drug lord and out to kill all of us at Five-0.
Me: Wait Jason, you said there was something else, what else?
Jason: He cheated on you.
Me: What? With who?
Jason: A woman named Rachel Edwards.
Me: Rachel?
I turned to Danny with tears in my eyes.
Danny: Jesse it was one time. It was the night before I proposed. That's when I realized that I don't love her. I love you.
Me: How could you?
Danny: Jesse. Please. I don't love her. I want to marry you. I will never love her. I will never do this to you again.
My heart was shattered.
Me: Alright if you really love me, marry me. Right now. No doubts. No hesitation. Then we're calling Steve and telling him about Gabriel.
Danny: Ok.
The preacher began again and Jason sat in the pews.
Preacher: Jesse do you take Danny to be your husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; and promise to be faithful to him until death do you part?
Me: I do.
Preacher: Danny do you take Jesse to be your wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; and promise to be faithful to her until death do you part?
Danny: I do.
Preacher: I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Danny kissed me. He picked me up in his arms and carried me out of the church to the truck. Jason came out too.
Jason: Look, I'm sorry about that. It's just that Jesse is like family to me and don't want anyone to hurt her. No hard feelings?
Danny: It's ok. She deserved to know the truth.
Jason hugged me and said congrats.
Jason: Be safe ok? They're off your tail for now. I've got TSA on alert so they have no way to get to you and since you changed your trip plans, that will throw them off.
Me: I will.
Jason left in his car and Danny and I got in the truck. We called Steve and then went to the hotel. We did all the things married couples were supposed to do and then went to sleep. We were going to need rest. Tomorrow was the Halloween Bash in L.A.
