The first place I thought to look was my house. She had brought all her stuff there so she wouldn't just leave it, would she? I got into my truck and Danny got into his car. He swerved around me and ahead of my truck. Then he floored the gas pedal. I did the same and ended up getting there at the same time as him. When we got there Jesse was walking out with the 2 small bags she had. Danny and I tried to block her path. She kicked me in the knee and Danny in the shin and sprinted down the driveway. She'd changed from the pants and boots she'd had on into a t-shirt, tennis shoes, and shorts. She crammed the 2 bags into a backpack as she ran. She didn't stop sprinting until she got to the stop sign at the end of the road. Danny tried to go after her, but I stopped him. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a car slid up to the curb. Jesse climbed in and the car sped off. What just happened? Who was in that car? Danny and I went back to my house. I went inside and noticed that the door to the room where I kept all my guns and military supplies was open. I walked in and saw things strewn everywhere. An AK-47, an MP15, and 10 grenades were missing. My sister had taken some serious firepower. Luckily for me, there was a traceable chip in the AK. I pulled out my laptop and began tracking it. It was just then that I noticed Danny standing in the doorway.
Me: What?
Danny: You know if you wouldn't have gone all psycho on me for actually liking her instead of using her, this wouldn't have happened.
Me: Shut up. You had no business with her.
Danny: Oh I forgot now that she's in your life you control her. That's the reason she's gone. That's the reason Catherine stayed in Afghanistan so long.
Me: Don't you dare bring her into this.
Danny: Whatever.
He stormed off and I heard his Camaro race off. After a minute of searching, I found her location. The tracker said she was in an old abandoned warehouse on sand island. I got into my truck and drove to the address. When I got there, the black car was sitting parked out front. I walked in and looked around. Suddenly I heard a gunshot followed by laughter and a man with a deep voice saying, "nice one." I pulled my gun and went to where the gunshots came from. There, I found Jesse holding the AK shooting at a target. A big man with muscles stood beside her. I holstered my gun.
Me: Jesse. Just what do you think you're doing with my guns?
Jesse froze. The big man turned towards me.
Man: Who are you?
Me: Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett. Who are you?
Jesse: He's Commander Jason Bolden of the Marines Special Forces. You need to leave now because seeing as how you did what you did, I ought to just lay you out right now.
Me: You're coming with me now.
Jesse: Oh yeah? What makes you think I will?
I got out my handcuffs.
Me: Jesse McGarrett you're under arrest for theft of a weapon. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a federal court of law.
Jesse: What? You can't arrest me!
Commander Bolden: Let her go.
I practically dragged Jesse out of the building and down to my truck.
Me: Jesse you have to listen to me. Ok?
Jesse: What?
Me: Get in the truck.
Jesse rolled her eyes and got in. Once she was in, I uncuffed her.
Me: Danny only did what I told him to do. But towards the end, he really fell for you.
Jesse: Bull.
Me: No it's not bull.
Jesse: God I'm just so tired of being lied to. Maybe I overreacted, but there was no reason for you to do that.
Me: I know and I'm sorry. Will you please just come back with me?
Jesse was silent for a moment.
Jesse: I guess. But first I need to call Danny. I need to apologize to him.
Jesse pulled out a phone and dialed Danny's number.
Jesse's POV:
Danny: Hello?
He sounded like he'd been crying.
Me: Hey it's me. Look I'm really sorry. I overreacted. Can we go someplace and talk?
Danny: Uh yeah sure. We can talk at my place.
Me: Ok I'll have Steve drop me off.
Danny: Ok.
Me: Bye Danny.
I hung up the phone and told Steve to take me to Danny's.

In Danny's driveway...

Steve: Do you need me to wait on you?
Me: No it's ok.
Steve: Alright see you later.
Me: Bye
I hopped out of the truck and walked up to Danny's door and knocked. I waited for him to open the door. He held it open for me to come in.
He turned around and shut the door behind him. As soon as he turned around, I hugged him as tight as I could and began sobbing on his shoulder. He wrapped his strong arms around me.
Me: I'm so sorry Danny.
Danny: Hey, hey. Don't cry it's fine.
Me: Danny, I need to tell you something.
Danny: Sure what is it?
Me: I... I think I'm in love with you.
I looked down at my feet when I said it. I didn't want to see his reaction.
Danny: Well I think I'm in love you too.
He was talking with a smile on his face. He stepped closer and kissed me. The kiss was long and passionate. And suddenly it turned into more than just kissing.

Later that night...

When I woke up, it was 2 am. I was laying on the couch with shirtless Danny. My head was on his chest and when I looked up at his face, I smiled. He must've felt me moving, because he woke up. When he did, he looked at me and smiled. When he did, my heart melted.
