-Jack POV-
"Whoa who's your new friend?" I asked my twin sister Brianna as we drove to school that morning.
"She's new." Brianna answered.
"No shit Bri." I rolled my eyes.
She shot me a glare. "Jesy Nelson, she's really nice."
"Nice looking." I smirked.
Brianna laughed. "This convo is just weird stop!"
I laughed and found a parking. Brianna and I both jumped out, just was I about to ask her more about Jesy, she jogged off to her friends.
Its not like I had a thing for Jesy, I mean I don't know her but she seemed like a good person to have around. I shook her out of mind and went to meet Jack Gilinsky at our usual corner - smokers corner.
After a few minutes the school bell rang, but Gilinsky and I skipped homeroom and were evidently late for first period. We actually are always late for class no matter what.
"See you later bro!" Gilinsky jogged to his class while I made my way to Science. As I rounded the corner I bumped into someone and knocked their books to the floor.
"Oh no! I'm gonna be so late." The person groaned and bent down at the same time I did to pick up the books.
"I'm so sorry - " I stopped when I looked up and came face to face with her - Jesy. She was even more beautiful up close than I has imagined.
"Oh - no don't be!" she smiled. We stood up together. "I'm so clumsy."
"Forget it." I chuckled and handed her the books. "I'm Jack Johnson."
"There's two Jacks?" She laughed. "You're Brianna's brother right?. I'm Jesy Nelson."
My heart sank, she had already met Gilinsky and I knew he would have already tried to make a move. Its how its always been.
"Well it was great meeting you!" I smiled and started walking off.
We were a few steps away when I turned around and asked her, "What do you have now? I could help."
"Oh thank God!" She sighed. "I uhm..have Science with Ms Larsson."
"Oh we're in the same class now." I said to her. "Come on. We're so late already!"
"Thanks Jack." She smiled and walked along side me.
And after that day...Jesy became my best friends girlfriend.
