Ch 25 // Testing Me

-Jesy POV-

"Okay I'm so glad we're having a sleep over." Brianna and I skipped along the isles of Walmart.

I giggled. "I'm glad you're not upset with me."

Brianna snorted. "Whatever happen is between you and Jack. I still love you both."

"Love you Bri." I smiled at her.

We were getting snacks for our sleep over. We decided to rent every scary movie known to man - and I'm talking gruesome scary. It was Friday night and everyone was going to Gilinskys party.

Not us though. We didn't really care about going. 

"I can't believe you're not going to your boyfriends party." Brianna said as we went to the ice cream section.

I shrugged. "I doubt he would miss me anyways. He's into making every one else happy - so he's good."

Brianna nodded. "Yeah he's changed so much ever since the accident. Do you think he knows?"

"He would have said something if he knew Bri." I said. Hoping I was right about that - maybe he does know but doesn't really care.

"Let's just forget about all this for tonight." Brianna hugged me from the side. "You deserve one night of happiness."

"And that's what you give me." I fake cried.

"You think I don't know?" Brianna winked and slapped my butt.

As we walked to the isle, Brianna made a sharp left instead. I followed her.

"I almost forget!" She said walking to the toiletries section. "I need some pads."

I laughed as Brianna picked out her stuff. "I haven't even had my period since..."

Brianna's eyes widened as she heard what I said. My throat suddenly went dry.

"Jesy?" She said.

"...a few weeks ago." I finished and swallowed hard.

I stood fixed to the floor, the basket of groceries hit the ground. My heart was hammering in my chest and I felt like fainting.

"Oh god." Brianna groaned and shook her head.

I shook mine. "No. No. Its not that at all. Its just a mistake."

"Jesy." Brianna groaned.

"My periods have always been scattered anyways." I shrugged and tried to sound reasonable.

Brianna gave me a look. "We have to get a test - "

"No!" I yelled. "Brianna no! I'm not pregnant."

"Did you just hear yourself! You and Jack...and you haven't had your period for as long as you can remember."

I looked at my belly. There wasn't even a bump - there shouldn't be because we had used condoms.

"Brianna we used protection!" I said quietly. My blood was cold now.

"Well then let's get a test just to see okay?" Brianna dragged me over to the pregnancy tests. "There's no harm in being sure."

I bit my lip as she took three different ones and we headed for checkout. I was shaking uncontrollably. The cashier didn't even bother to look at us when she scanned the tests.

After getting our items, we walked to Brianna's car and headed to my house at top speed. I didn't need to drink water because I always need to pee when I'm nervous.
