Ch 12 // Skate park

-Jack POV-

"I'm gonna suck so bad." Jesy groaned and pulled two skateboards out of the back of her Chevy truck.

"First rule of skating." I said taking a board from her. "Be positive."

"Yes master." Jesy nodded and followed me towards the skating park.

The park was empty for Friday but that meant Jesy and I had the place to ourselves. The sky above us was dull - promising rain later. But this was perfect weather.

"Okay come on." I set the board down as Jesy did the same. "We'll practice on flat ground before doing ramps."

"Alright." Jesy put one foot on the board and reached for me.

With both feet on the board Jesy grabbed my hands, i was holding her hands firmly.

"Just balance okay?" I chuckled as Jesy wobbled and her finger nails dug into my hands.

"That's what I'm trying to do!" Jesy yelled and almost toppled over.

I laughed and Jesy pulled her hands away and rolled her eyes at me.

"Hey hey don't be upset." I held back a small smirk and pulled her closer. "Let's try again yeah?"

Jesy held me too. Her eyes gazing into mine made my insides turn five thousand times in one second. God, I love this girl.

"Okay I'm ready!" Jesy pulled away and shook her arms enthusiastically.

"Alright come on." I took her hands as she balanced herself on the board again.

"Don't let me fall." Jesy whispered and concentrated hard.

I nodded. "I'll never let you fall Jes."

Jesy looked up at me, maybe I wasn't just talking about skateboarding. And I think she knew that. I could never let her fall while I had her.

"Now use your leg and kick off at a slow pace." I looked down, breaking the intense eye contact.

"Like this?" Jesy asked and followed what I'd said. I was along side her as the board moved very slowly - i tried not to laugh at her.

I nodded. "Okay now I'm gonna let go and you're gonna go faster. Use your foot as a break to stop."

"Okay okay I'm ready!" Jesy exclaimed excitedly.

I let go as she picked up pace and skated in a straight line, wobbly, but she did it until she was on the opposite side of the pavement. A great distance separated us.

"I did it!" Jesy yelled and jumped up and down. "Did you see? That was wicked!"

I laughed. "Aight now ride back to me."

Jesy looked nervous but hopped back on the board like I showed her. It took her a while to get on without falling off again and after 5 tries she was skating slowly towards me.

"Some speed!" I yelled out for Jesy.

Jesy picked up speed. But I wished she hasn't because now she was uncontrollably fast. The wind blew her hair behind her and still she went faster. But she has the biggest smile on her face.

"Wooohoo!" Jesy laughed and yelled at the same time. "I feel free!"

"Okay slow down." I said as she came closer - at the same speed.

Jesy started to wobble.

"Jesy slow down." I warned as she started wobbling - balance gone now. "Use your foot!"

"I think in gonna fall Jack! I can't." Jesy sounded distraught.

I jogged to her and got too close because the next thing I felt was Jesy falling ontop of me and the ground against my back. The board came to a halt some distance behind us.

I laughed. "God Jesy, you scared me for a second."

Jesy laughed. I felt her body shake gently on top of mine - it made me feel good inside. I slid my arms around her waist and felt tiny drops if rain on my arms.

"That was frikken cool." Jesy giggled. Her long hair fell around my face, tickling my cheeks.

Why we weren't getting up I didn't really understand. I guess we both liked being in each others arms but wouldn't do it unless a mishap occurred. I didn't even care, I could lay on the concrete in the empty skatepark with Jesy all day.

"You're pretty good." I chuckled.

"You're a liar." Jesy laughed - her eyes closed and I couldn't help but stare at her.

I gently cupped her cheek with one of my hands. Jesy sighed at the touch of my hands, I felt her cool breath on my cheeks.

"Its drizzling." Jesy whispered.

"I don't care." I said. My thumb grazed her soft lips gently, Jesy looked at me with innocent eyes.

-Jesy POV -

I inhaled sharply when Jack trailed his thumb along my lips. I was laying on top of him - his breathing heavy.

Jack slowly pulled my face closer to his until our lips met and threw me off guard. I felt an instant fire when we kissed - Jacks tongue slipping into my mouth. I sighed against his mouth.

The kiss turned sloppily when Jack sat up straight with me on his lap and my legs around his waist. The floor was cold beneath us.

I felt Jacks cold hands under my shirt, tracing my spine slowly making me shiver slightly. I kissed him harder and with more passion.

"Damn." Jack groaned after breaking apart and holding me closer.

"Damn is the correct word." A new voice said from behind me.

I registered it as a girls voice. Jack tensed and looked over my shoulder with angry eyes. I scrambled up and pulled my shirt down.

"What are you doing here Audrina?" Jack asked hostile like.

Audrina? Gilinsky had told me about her and how she had likes him first but now she is all obsessed with Johnson. Sounded familiar. I wondered if Jack likes her back and that's why he's being hostile.

Audrina had red hair and a pixie face. She was pretty in a different way. I felt kind of inferior.

"Its a free country." Audrina. "And I'm pretty shocked at this scene. Aren't you Gilinsky's girl?" She turned to face me.

"Jesy." I said stifly. I mean I'm not someone to dislike people but this girl was testing me.

"Right." Audrina chuckled. "You know they may have the same name but this Jack isn't your boyfriend."

I was quiet.

"And here you are full on making out with your boyfriends best friend." Audrina chuckled. "In public!"

"Audrina." Jack cut in. "Its none of your business."

"Its not." Audrina shrugged. "You two are probably fücking! How betraying and sneaky!"

"Shut up." Javk gritted his teeth. "Why don't you just get lost?"

Audrina giggled. "Don't worry. Your dirty little secret is safe with me for now."

Then she skipped off as the rain picked up slowly. Jack was tensed and angry, he looked to me. I didnt know what to do or say now that someone had seen us hook up.

"Jack I'm sorry - "

"I'm taking you home." He cut me off - his voice cold.

"But - "

"Now Jesy." Jack said walking off, leaving me to follow him.
