Carter's p.o.v

There's been a lot of things going on. Dylan wanted to be adopted again, so I adopted him.

Kian and Selena have been having some issues, and I don't know if it's fixable this time.

"Mom, can you help me?" Madison yelled from upstairs. "With what?" I yelled back.

"Math." She said coming down the stairs. "Sorry, babe. I'm no good at math. Luke should be able to help you." I smiled at her.

"Luke Hemmings, at your service." Luke laughed. He helped Madison with homework while I made dinner.

The boys were outside, Lily was with her boyfriend, & the babies were napping.

Madison headed upstairs once her homework was done. We ate dinner and then I gave the babies a bath.

Soon, the babies were asleep. Lily has been going through a stage where she doesn't listen to me.

She's been sneaking out of the house at 3am and doesn't come back until 9am sometimes.

It's frustrating and annoying. Lily walked in the house. "Where have you been?" I asked her.

"Out." She replied. "Lilian. Where were you?" I asked her, in a more stern voice.

"I said I was out." She said rolling her eyes. "Talk to me like that one more time." I told her.

She rolled her eyes again. "Whatever." "Lilian Kaye, you better tell me where you were." I told her.

"I was with Luke! There, you happy?" She asked me raising her voice at me.

"Better not raise your voice at me. I'll take away your car." I told her. "You can't do that." She said.

"Actually, yes I can. I pay for it." I told her. "No! You can't do that or I'll tell dad." She threatened.

"Go, go tell your dad." I told her. "I will!" She yelled. "Give me your keys now. don't you dare yell at me." I told her.

I held my hands out and waited for her to hand me the keys to her car. "No, I'm not giving you shit." She told me.

"Excuse me? Lilian give me the damn car keys, and your phone while we're at it." I told her.

"I'm leaving and I'm moving in with dad! You're being unfair!" Lily yelled.

She ran out, and got in her car. I sighed as I headed upstairs. "Don't worry about it, babe. She's a teenager." Luke said hugging me.

I went to check on Mason who was working on homework. "Are you almost done babe?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Just a few more words." He smiled at me. "Awesome. I love you." I said kissing his forehead.

"I love you too mom." He smiled at me. I headed out to check on Madison, who was facetiming Peyton.

"Hey Carter!" Peyton said. "Hey, babe. How are you?" I asked him as I played with Madison's hair.

"I'm great! How are you?" He asked me. "Great as well. I'll let you guys FaceTime." I smiled.

"Bye!" He said. I kissed Madison's cheek, and headed back to my room. Paris was asleep on Luke's chest.

I laughed as Luke smiled at me. "She couldn't sleep." He whispered. I laid next to them, and kissed Luke's cheek.

Soon, Paris saw that I was next to her, and she climbed on me. "Let's go to your bed, babe." I told her.

I stood up, and carried her to her room. She laid down in her bed, and kissed me.

"Goodnight mami. I love you." I told Paris as I played with her hair. "Night night." She smiled.

She closed her eyes, and I headed back to my room. "What are you doing tomorrow?" I asked Luke.

It was Friday, which meant that I would drop the kids off for school and Bradley would pick them up after.

They would be with him until Sunday night. "You." Luke smirked. He began kissing up my neck.

I laughed as I ran my hands through his hair.

It's been a year. A year full of pure happiness and smiles. Luke and I have been engaged for more than a year.

In less than a month, I will be Carter Caylen Hemmings. I am madly in love with Luke.

I have never been so sure of something as I am with this. The kids are happy and healthy.

Madison travels more, and she is making us so proud. Mason is now homeschooled and Lily graduated.

I have never been prouder of her. "Paris! Come here." I yelled. Paris ran into the room.

"Yes?" She asked me. "Come give momma a kiss." I told her. She nodded, and kissed my forehead.

The kids are getting ready to go to their dads. Kendall and Bradley decided to try their relationship for real this time.

I couldn't be happier for them. They make a lovely couple. Kendall and I even get along.

We're kind of, sort of best friends. Dylan lives with Niall (Horan) who is his husband, & he stops by once in a while.

Luke is currently getting us food. Luke has been super excited about the wedding.

Sometimes I think he's more excited than I am. Bradley wasn't sure if he wanted to attend the wedding- which is understandable.

Me and Bradley will always have feelings for each other; it simply didn't work.

Since we will always have feelings for each other, I understand why he wouldn't want to show up to the wedding.

It's not easy seeing the person who you were once madly in love with start a new chapter with someone new.

It's not easy. Even though I was dating Luke, I was jealous of Kendall and Bradley.

I was jealous of how happy they were. I just want my kids to know that their mom and dad love them; even if we aren't together.

A/n: you guyssssss😩 I'm so so so so so sorry for not updating sooner!😔 I have been going through a lot.. The 12th of September was my quinceañera and I was way busy before that. My parents have also spilt recently and I have been dealing with that since May and it's been super tough on me. I had to move and start over in a new place, and I just wasn't feeling like I could update. I love you guys endlessly!💙
