Surprises and more surprises.

Carter's p.o.v

Today is Lily's first birthday, and we are throwing her a party in the back yard of mine and Brad's house.

We aren't moved in yet, but since the backyard is nice, we are using it.

We are doing last minute things. I am getting the food outside, while Brad is changing Lily.

Dad is outside fixing the chairs, Kian is putting last minute decorations up, Trevor is filming, Ricky is picking the cake up, Sam is making sure the pool is closed, and that there's no water in it.

Tristan, James, & Connor are cleaning the house up. 5sos actually just landed, so they are resting, Justin and Scooter are taking pictures and filming.

"That's done," I whispered to myself. The food table looks nice. "The pools good." Sam smiled at me.

"Thank you." I said. We walked inside and Ricky walked in with Lily's cake.

"Should I keep the cake in the fridge or put it outside?" Ricky asked me.

"Put it in the fridge please." I said as I cleaned my mess up. "I need to get ready." I said.

"I'll do everything else, go get ready." Sam said. "Thanks." I smiled at him.

I went upstairs. Brad was done changing Lily. She was wearing a purple & pink dress, and she had some purple flats on.

She looked gorgeous. Taylor and Kyle were here, and I sat down. Brad handed me Lily.

I kissed her forehead. "You look gorgeous baby." I said smiling at her. Kyle was doing my hair. He straightened my hair and I kept it down.

Taylor moved on to do my makeup. "Is my skater dress over there?" I asked Brad.

"Yes, babe." He smiled. "Thanks Taylor." I said as I got up. I quickly went and changed.

My skater skirt was white and I had white pumps on. "You look gorgeous." Brad said kissing me.

"Thank you." I smiled. Bradley had Lily. "Everything's done." Dad smiled. "Thanks so much." I said hugging him.

People began arriving. We had bounce houses, and a candy bar. I went downstairs with Lily.

Everyone was outside. "She looks gorgeous." Luke smiled and he grabbed Lily.

"She does." I smiled. She reminds me of Brenda so much. It's unbelievable how much she looks like her.

I smiled as I saw all the guests. I took a picture with Brad and Lily, and posted it.

I then went back to attending people and helping them out. Carol is here, with a few kids from the orphanage.

"She's so pretty," Carol said. "Cherish her younger years while they last." She laughed.

Soon, it was time to cut the cake. Everyone got behind the table, and James lit her candle up.

Brad and I blew on it as everyone cheered. Lily just giggled. I cut a slice of cake, and Lily grabbed it, and put it on her face.

"Oh Lily." I laughed as Alfredo took pictures. We handed cake out.

"We should make a speech." I told Brad. He nodded and we got on the mini stage we had built, and grabbed the mic.

"Can we have everyone's attention, please?" Brad spoke up. Everyone was now looking at us.

"Carter and I wanted to thank everyone for coming out and celebrating Lily's first birthday with us."

We are now cleaning up and heading to dad's house. We got Lily in the car and headed to the house.

When we got there, dad and Kian we already there. We put Lily to sleep.

"Can't believe she's one." Brad said as he hugged me. "Me neither." I said as we both looked at our baby girl.

My album gets released in two weeks, and I go on tour in a month.

I get to bring Lily and Hope with me. Bradley will be spending a lot of time with us too.

Everything is happening so quickly. Little did I know that in the morning, I'd be facing something I never wanted too.

Bradley was asleep, with Lily in his arms. Kian came in. "There are some pancakes downstairs." He smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled. He left and I put my hair up. I went downstairs.

Hope and Hazel ran over to me. I pet them, and fed them. Dad was eating.

"Where are Lily and Brad?" He asked. "They are sleeping." I said sitting down.

The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I sighed as I got up. I opened the door. There was a woman and a man, standing there.

"Can I help you?" I asked confused. "Baby, it's really you." the woman said as she smiled widely.

"Huh?" I asked. Memories began coming back. Memories of my parents and I.

They can't be... They are... They're my parents. "B-but you're dead. Yo-you it can't be." I said with tears in my eyes.

"It's us." My "dad" said. You'd think id be happy, but I'm not. This means they faked their death.

"What do you want?" I asked. "You." They said. I shook my head no. "We faked our death because we didn't want you. But we want you now." My "mom" said.

"No, no." I said crying. Dad came to my side. "Who are these people?" He asked me.

"Her real parents." My "dad" told him. Dad was confused. I kept shaking my head.

I saw that my "dad" had a knife in his hand. "Close the door." I whispered to dad.

"What?" He asked me. "He has a knife. Close the door." I whispered. Dad quickly closed the door.

"Call the cops!" I shouted. I ran upstairs and woke Brad up. "Downstairs. Now." Was all I could say as I grabbed Lily.

He didn't question it.

The police just arrested my "parents" apparently they sold drugs and escaped prison.

But they won't be leaving now. Brad comforted me. I cried, and cried.
