So Worth It.

Carter's p.o.v

Due to stress, I have been in the hospital for two days now. I have been so stressed.

I could've lost mine and Sam's baby. It was really scary. Now, the baby is fine and I'm recovering.

I leave the hospital in two minutes. Mason still won't talk to me. He's still mad.

Which kills me. That's my son. I used to be so close to him, and now I'm not. It's so weird not having him around.

After thinking about it for a while, I decided that it would be better if I just stayed where I am.

Kian and I made up, as well. I am just waiting for things to cool down and settle.

I don't need this much drama right now. "You ready, babe?" Sam asked me. I nodded, and waited on the nurses.

I got changed, and left. Sam dropped me off at home, since he's going with Kylie. I invited Selena over because I miss her.

Things for super crazy between us and she was mad at me, too. "I'm here!" I heard a voice say.

"Hello!" I yelled. Selena walked into the living room, where I was. "How are you?" She asked me.

"I'm doing okay." I smiled. "I'm glad. So your baby is unharmed?" Selena asked me. "Yeah! The baby is great." I smiled.

"You scared me. I'm so glad the baby is okay." She softly smiled. The doorbell went off, and I went to open it up.

It was Luke with my babies. "They're back as promised." He told me handing me them and their stuff.

Ariel and Tyler were in my arms, and I kissed them. "Thank you so much." I smiled.

"I heard about your hospital visit. Are you okay? How's your baby?" He asked me.

"The baby is fine. And I'm okay." I softly smiled. "That's good. Well, I'll pick them up Friday." He said.

Ariel and Tyler hugged their dad, and he left. "Aunt Selly is here." I said. They clapped. Since they are 1, they are able to walk.

They ran to Selena, and she picked them up. "Hi cuties." She smiled. Ariel got down and came over to me.

"Hi baby." I smiled. She kept hugging me. I put her on my lap, and she laid down. "Did you miss me?" I asked her.

She kept on playing with my hair. "Did you miss mommy?" I asked her. She giggled as I kissed her cheek.

"King, did you miss mommy?" I asked leaning over and kissing his cheek. He giggled and smiled.

"Mommy missed you guys." I said. "Let's get them something to eat." Selena said. We stood up and walked to the kitchen.

We put them in their high chairs. We fed them baby food. After, we gave them a shower and put them down for a nap.

"They are so wonderful." Selena smiled. "I know, thank you." I smiled. "When are Paris and Casey coming over?" Selena asked me.

"Later today, actually. They're going to be with me for 2 weeks straight because Bradley is going to be in the studio a lot and Kendall works." I said.

"Paris is almost 4, and Casey is almost 3." Selena told me. "I know. My babies are so old." I laughed.

"Are you gonna throw a party for them?" Selena asked me. "I'm talking about that with Brad today." I smiled.

"Also, your birthday is in 4 days." She said. "I know. My dad is making me celebrate." I laughed.

"That's good though. It'll be nice for you to spend time just enjoying yourself." Selena smiled.

"I know, it's a good idea. Sam and I are throwing a party for my birthday." I smiled.

"Am I invited?" Selena asked playing around. "Ew, you? Never." I teased. Again, the door bell rang and I ran to get it.

It was Bradley. "Come in." I smiled. The kids were behind him. Paris ran over to me. "Momma!!" She yelled.

"Hi, precious." I smiled picking her up. "Mommy." Casey said. I leaned down, and kissed him.

"Where sissy and bubba?" Paris asked. She calls Ariel sissy and Tyler bubba. "They're taking a nap. They'll be up soon." I smiled.

"I have to go now. Kian needs me." Selena laughed. "Love you!" I smiled. She said her goodbyes.

"Let's go to the kitchen to talk about their birthday." I said. Bradley nodded, walking to the kitchen.

We sat down. "I think we should throw them one big party." He said. "Yeah, it's easier than throwing two, and they'll love sharing a birthday." I smiled.

"Themes?" Bradley asked. I pulled out my laptop, and began taking notes. "Paris is really into princesses, and Casey is in love with Ninja Turtles." Bradley said.

"So princess & ninja turtle themed?" I asked. He nodded. "And we could have the party at our old house." Bradley said.

"That's a great idea." I smiled. We listed all the party supplies, and split it up so we each knew what we were getting.

"Alright, this is going to be great. Thank you for coming over." I smiled as Bradley stood up.

"Of course. Everything will be ready by next weekend." He smiled. He said his goodbyes to our babies, and left.

Paris came up to me, and hugged me very tight. "Oh my angel." I smiled. The twins woke up.

It's really stressful when I'm by myself & when all my kids are awake. "Look sissy!" Paris said showing Ariel her coloring book.

Ariel looked at it up and down, smiling. Casey and his bubba were watching the ninja turtles movie.

I ordered some presents for Paris and Casey. "Momma!" Paris yelled. I got up and ran to the living room.

"Yes?" I asked her. "Sissy hungry." She said. I looked at Ariel and she laughed. "Is sissy hungry?" I laughed.

She nodded, and I went to get the kids some fruit snacks. "Here you go." I smiled.

They ate. Later Paris helped Ariel color. I stood by the door of our living room, just staring at my kids.

Everything feels so worth it when I take a step back and look at how amazing they are.
