Birthday. (part 1)

Carter's p.o.v

It's been 1 month. It's been really hard without Luke around, but I have managed. My birthday is in 3 days. It's currently July 2nd. My birthday is July 5th. Sucks that I won't have Luke around, but I have to be okay with it.

Also, I have been hanging out with Brad a lot. He's a lot of fun and he's super cute. Today, he's back in LA and we are gonna hang out. We are going to go to the board walk. I just finished with my hair and makeup.

I put my white and pink crop top on, and tied a flannel shirt on around my waist, and put some high waisted shorts on, and my timberland boots. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I quickly sent Luke a text as I headed downstairs.

Hey I miss you.😞 hope to see you soon! I love you so much💞

I locked my phone and went into the kitchen where dad was. "You look gorgeous." Lia said smiling. i went up to her and hugged her. "Thank you Lia." I smiled. She nodded and I went to hug dad.

"I think Brad's here. Have fun and here's some extra money. Love you baby." Dad said as he walked me to the front door. "Bye! Love you too!" I smiled as I walked towards Brad's car.

"Hey, you!" I said as I got in the car. I put my sunglasses on and he began to drive. "How've you've been?" Brad asked. "I'm a lot better. Still miss Luke." I said sighing. "He'll be back before you know it." Brad smiled.

"I'm excited for today. I can't wait." I said changing the subject. "Me neither, I reckon it's gonna be a bloody good day." Brad said as he continued to drive.

We finally got to the board walk. He quickly found a parking spot, and we got out. Since brad is in a band, of course there were fans and paps. We passed them and began playing games and all that good stuff.

"We should go on the Ferris Wheel." I said as Brad handed me a small pink teddy bear he had just won me. "Yeah, I'm down." Brad smiled. We began walking towards the Ferris Wheel, and we got in line.

It was finally our turn, and we got in one of those carts, or whatever you want to call them. We were going up, and I pulled my phone out. "Come on, get in the picture." I told Brad. He nodded and smiled towards the camera.

I locked my phone and enjoyed the view. I seriously wish Luke was here. I took a picture of the view, and locked my phone. It hard to believe that Luke won't be here for my birthday, but I obviously have to make the best of it.

It was time for us to get out. Brad held my hand, then he walked ahead of me. It was now time to go home. We got in the car, obviously being followed by mobs of fans and paps.

"Thanks so much for tonight, it was a lot of fun." I told Brad as he began driving off. "I'm glad you had fun. I did as well. You're a lot of fun to be around." Brad smiled. "Well thank ya." I smiled.

He finally got to my house, and I got out. "Thanks again for tonight. It was a lot of fun." I said as I got out. "Of course, text me. Goodnight." Brad said. "Goodnight." I said before heading inside.

"Where have you been?" Sam asked angry as I was heading upstairs. I was on the second step, and I faced to turn him. "Really, sam? Really? You said we were friends with benefits, and you go find a girlfriend, and ignore me, && act like an asshole, but suddenly, when I hang out with a guy, you care? You don't see me asking you where you've been, because quite frankly, I don't give a fuck where you are and what you do." I spat at him.
