Carter's p.o.v
Me and Kenyon are finally heading back to my place. His mom and dad wanted me to keep him at my house for a week or two, which I have no problem with.
He has been crying pretty hard for a while now. He looks absolutely drained. "I'm here if you need someone to talk to," I told Kenyon as we got to the car, and got in.
"I went through the same thing, as well. It's really hard. I'm always going to be here for you."
"Thank you, Carter. That means a lot." He said. "We are going to your house for your things, okay?" I asked him.
He simply nodded and I began driving towards his house, which was a few minutes away.
I sighed as I remembered all the mixed emotions I felt with Brenda. I was hurt, and I couldn't take it.
My heart really ached for this young boy, who was my daughter's boyfriend.
I got to his house. "Do you want me to wait out here?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'll be a few minutes." He said getting out.
Bradley texted me and said that he picked Lily up from school, and that Madison is almost ready for the first meeting for 'Girl Meets World'
I locked my phone. Kenyon was only a few minutes like he said, and we began to head to my house.
"I know you probably don't want to, but Madison is having her very first meeting for her show, and you are more than welcomed to come." I told Kenyon.
"Um, I'll pass. I just want to rest." He said in a very soft voice. "I understand. You can stay with Lily." I told him.
He nodded and looked out the window. We finally got to the house, and Lily ran to Kenyon and hugged him.
"I'm gonna stay with him." She said. I looked at her. "I'm trusting you, Lily." I said as the twins and I left along with Bradley.
"Are you excited?" I asked Madison as I hugged her. "Yes, I'm really excited! It just kind of sucks Kenyon is feeling down." She sighed.
"It does suck. We have to be very understanding about his situation, though. Be nice to him." I said looking at the twins.
"I'm always nice to Kenyon. In school when I'd get bulli-" Mason began, but then stopped. "Nevermind." He quickly said.
"What? When you what?" I said, not wanting to just now get told my child was being bullied.
Madison and Mason looked at each other. "Mas, tell us." Bradley said. Usually, we wait for our kids to tell us things.
We don't want them to push us away, but this isn't okay. "Mason, please." I said. He looked at Madison, who nodded.
"Fine. For a while in school, I was being bullied. They would call me names, and push me to the ground. Kenyon would always see it happen and stop it as soon as he saw it. Don't be mad at Kenyon. He always wanted to tell you. I just never let him." Mason explained.
My heart broke as my child told me this. I can't believe it, and I didn't notice.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him. "I was scared you wouldn't believe me, or if I told you it would get worse. I'm really sorry, mom." He said with a few tears in his eyes.
"Mason, don't ever apologize for being scared, okay? Never." I told him. I looked at Bradley, and he sighed.
He kept driving, and my heart ached even more than it already did. I can't believe my child was being bullied and I didn't know.
"Mom, dad, are you mad?" Mason asked. "Of course not, Mason. Don't ever think we are mad at you for being the victim." Bradley said.
We finally got to the studio, and we all got out. I hugged my baby boy, and kissed his head. He held my hand, and hugged me.
"Are you ready, baby girl?" Bradley asked madison as we walked in. "Ready." She smiled.
We walked in, and were greeted by the producers. "The family will be sitting over there, behind the cast table." One smiled.
We nodded and sat over there. "Good luck." I told Madison. "Thanks mom." She smiled.
I sat next to Bradley and Mason. Mason layed his head on my shoulder. "I'm sorry mom." He said.
"Don't apologize. I just want to have a serious talk with you." I whispered. He nodded and we watched the cast rehearse their first episode.
After about 40 minutes of laughing, it was over. "I'm Peyton Meyer." A handsome boy said coming up to me.
"Carter Simpson. Nice to meet you." I smiled. Madison came over to me. "I'm really excited to be playing your love interest." Peyton teased.
"Love interest?" I smiled. "Yeah, mom." Madison laughed. "So you're playing Lucas?" I asked Peyton. "Sure am." He smiled.
"This is so exciting, I can't wait to start filming." Madison said. "When do you start filming?" Bradley asked.
"In two days." Madison replied. "Well, it was nice meeting you. I have to go now. I'll see you later, Madison." Peyton smiled before he left.
"Bye." Madison said. I smiled and we began making our way to the car. "See you later, Simpsons!" Sabrina yelled waving.
"Bye!" We all yelled laughing. We got in the car. "I wonder how Lily and Kenyon are." Bradley said.
"They're fine, Brad. Trust Lily." I said. "I do, I'm just scared. Don't want her to do something she'll regret." He said.
