The school day went in a blur for Castiel, there were happy glimpses of Dean, and not so exciting glares from Crowley & Co. Then at the end of the day Castiel walked out in the masses of other children, making his way slowly to where Dean's impala is parked. Dean was already there, leaning against the car and talking idly to Balthazar. Castiel couldn't help but love they way Dean looked beside his car...it was different than any other form of Dean (it made more sense in Castiel's mind). Dean looked up and saw Castiel. A grin spread across his face and it was just about the best thing Castiel had ever seen -and it was impossible to not return a small one.

"Heya, Cas." Dean chimed. Balthazar gazed between the two and had a look of concentration plastered on his face.

"Hello, Dean." Castiel returned. Dean smiled and opened his door. He jumped in and Castiel and Balthazar followed, going to their own spots.

It didn't take long for Dean to play the classic rock music and announce that they were going to the middle school.

It only took a few minutes before the impala rolled up to the brick building. Gabriel and Sam were sitting on the ledge of pavement, both leaning towards each other to look at a book they had in between them. Dean didn't call out right away, they all watched for a second, mostly wondering what they were so interested in, but then a few moments passed and Dean leaned out of the window.

"Sammy!" He yelled. "Gabe!" The two boys whipped their heads in the direction of the car, then they looked at each other and smiled. There were words on the two boys lips that couldn't be heard from where Castiel and Dean were. They laughed briefly and then they made it to the car.

Sam opened the door and slide in, Gabriel followed closing the door behind him. Both wore goofy smiles and Castiel couldn't help but ask how their day was. Sam smiled even bigger and elbowed Gabriel slightly in the side.

"Tell 'em." He said. Gabriel looked at the floor and blushed.

"Tell us what?" Castiel asked.

Gabriel looked up, "I asked Kali out," there was a pause, "she said yes." There was a round of congratulations as Gabriel's face turned completely red.

"She's hot," Sam announced, "like, really hot." Gabriel looked at Sam and rolled his eyes. Dean laughed.

"Already scoring with the ladies at thirteen." Dean chuckled. "Good job buddy." Gabriel rubbed a hand over his face, probably trying to stop the heat from spreading. They all shared another laugh before they started driving again.

It didn't take long for the boys to arrive home. Gabriel and Sam ran from the car at record breaking speed, talking about trying out for soccer next year as freshmen (Gabriel had said Sam should try out with him, after, of course Gabe taught  Sammy a thing or to about cuts and scissors). Balthazar followed them, complaining about all the homework he had to catch up on. Castiel laughed at his brothers, reaching for the car's door handle. His fingers only curled around the cold metal before another hand stopped him. Castiel turned to see Dean staring back at him.

"We're not going inside." Dean smiled. Castiel squinted his eyes in confusion.

"W-what do you mean?" He asked.

"We're going to the mall." Dean removed his hand and placed it back on the steering wheel. Castiel scoffed.

"The mall?" He questioned. Dean nodded his head. "Why the mall?" Castiel re-buckled his seatbelt and Dean began to pull out of the drive way.

"Because you need clothes; Gabriel can wear Sam's, Balthazar can wear my old ones, but you can't fit into any." Castiel shook his head.

"You don't need to- I mean yours fit fine." Dean glanced sideways at him, a skeptical look plastered across his face.
