Yash yelled out in frustration as he peered over the cliff into the lake. Amy, Amelia and Kriti were nowhere to be seen, meaning he they were still a threat to both him and the cornucopia. He began the walk back to his alliance and as he walked through the dirt, grass and rocks he thought to himself about his alliance.

He had had doubts about the group before the games, but hadn't acted on them. Ellie, Eleanor and Emma were smart to have stuck to a three, and Yash worried that because there were six of them, they might end up turning on each other; in fact he knew they would eventually turn on each other. But it was too late to change his mind.

Though I guess it wasn't he could always turn around and head towards the tundra and join Lily, Kate, John and Ruby, assuming they'd accept him, or he could go towards the jungle and meet up with Ellie, Emma and Eleanor. Though they would most likely not greet him with open arms.

Eventually, he arrived back at his base with the others. When he arrived Timtam and Max were rifling through things in the cornucopia as Michael practiced his sword technique against a wall. Ricky was on the floor and TK was using some medicines to heal him. Yash approached Michael first.

"Did you catch them?" Michael queried once he noticed Yash out of the corner of his eye, though he could pretty easily guess the answer.

"No. What's happening here?" Yash asked, picking up a sword and joining him.

"Well Timtam and Max are sorting out the resources and TK is taking care of Ricky who injured himself by tripping over his own foot." Michael explained with a chuckle.

"Oh wow Ricky." Yash laughed at him, and Ricky just glared at him. Max exited the cornucopia and decided to join in on the conversation, already quite bored of sorting through resources.

Meanwhile, Timtam continued. He had sorted food, weapons and miscellaneous things into piles. Finally, an hour or two later, he had reached the back of the cornucopia. There was a quiver full of arrows, a bottle of water and an extensive rope. He sorted the things into the groups then clapped the dust off of his hands. He was quite proud of his handiwork. He turned to exit, but before he did, he noticed a glimmer in the very corner of the cornucopia.

And there it was. The ultimate resource in the games.

A gun.

Timtam analyzed his surroundings to ensure no one was watching him as he reached for the gun. It was a simple handgun, already full of bullets, and beside it was a large box filled with even more bullets. A sick smile spread across Timtam's face. He pulled back on it and aimed it at a tree in the forest a long way away. He pulled the trigger and the sound echoed around the cornucopia. He exited the silver structure and approached Michael, TK, Max, Yash and Ricky, who were sat on the ground just outside.

"Keep your hands where I can see them." Timtam yelled, pointing the gun at the group. Michael's eye widened, completely caught off guard by the weapon. The five raised their hands in the air and sat up straight. At this point, Yash seriously regretted not running while he had the chance.

"I have the gun, therefore I have the power. I control the resources and, you will all do what I say, or you get a bullet in the chest." Timtam threatened, a smile tugging at his lips. It made a shiver run down Michael's spine to see Timtam so dominant and practically insane. "Is that clear?"

"Yes." They all said in chorus.

"Now, get up and prepare me the best meal you can." Timtam ordered, not once pointing his gun away. The five began walking back to the cornucopia, feeling a mix of fear and sadness; they couldn't last long now. "Except you Ricky. I want you to build me a throne." Timtam demanded. Ricky almost bit his head off right there.

"Why you little -" Ricky began, but was interrupted by Timtam firing a warning shot into the ground beside Ricky. His eyes widened and he nodded frantically, jogging back to the cornucopia.

Meanwhile, TK and Max were sorting through the food pile, looking for something that wouldn't get them killed by Timtam.

"TK, we have to get out of here." Max whispered as he pulled out a bag of rice. TK nodded. "I cant stand watching him have power." Max added, glaring at Timtam as he sat in the makeshift throne Ricky had made him out of boxes, blankets and pillows.

"I cant stand to see him have power over you." TK said, smiling down at Max. They smiled at each other and shared a brief kiss, hoping Timtam didn't notice them.

"Ok, I say on the count of three we run towards the forest." Max said, pointing into the vast forest not too far away. IT would take a lot to outrun a gun, but he had confidence that they could do it. TK nodded in approval and awaited Max's countdown. "One," Max began, walking closer to the entrance of the cornucopia. "Two," He muttered under his breath, facing out to the forest. "THREE!" He yelled and sprinted off towards the forest.

Timtam turned his head and watched as TK and Max attempted to make their escape. It was futile. With no effort or remorse, he raised his gun and pulled the trigger twice. Max felt a sharp pain in his lower leg and fell forward onto the dirt, face first. TK collapsed a split-second later. They lay together, clutching their recently shot legs and lying in a pool of their blood, until eventually, Timtam allowed Michael and Yash to collect them and return them back.

Yash, Michael, TK, Max and Ricky all now knew, that they weren't safe, and any escape plan would fail, as long as Timtam had a gun in his hand.
