Chapter 14: Family hug

Luna's POV

I looked at Gwen, wondering what went through her mind right now. She was just looking at me, mouth slightly open, her eyes slightly widened, but nothing too much.

"Gwen?" I asked carefully, not knowing how she'd react.

She blinked and gulped. "H-how did you even find her?"

"I got taken to her castle the first time with Dawn. We were out past curfew and on witch territory... But anyway, I saw her then and she really seemed dangerous and all those things mom had said about her."

"So mom's right?"

I quickly shook my head no. "Not at all."

"But you just said..."

"I know but listen to me. I got taken back there for a second time, this morning, because I have the 'forbidden name'." I said, rolling my eyes.

"The forbidden name?" Gwen asked me, she seemed amused by this.

I nodded. "Our names are forbidden in her kingdom, I guess because of us."

She looked down. "What happened when she saw you again?"

I smiled, I couldn't help it, and Gwen seemed to notice. "She seemed to know immediately I was her daughter. She first did a DNA test, and when it proved her right, she was so nice."

"R-really?"

I nodded and smiled at Gwen. "She asked about me, about you too, even about mom. She told me she has been looking for us ever since mom disappeared with us."

"Wow..."

"I know right." I said and laid down. "She was so sad, so...lonely..."

Gwen sighed deep. "I want to see her."

I quickly shot up. "Wait, really?"

She nodded. "If you're saying she's really nice and she missed us... Then I want to see her. I was scared because mom said she was dangerous, evil, crazy... I just didn't know what to believe."

"And because you hate wolves." I said and looked away.

She sighed deep. "I'm sorry, Luna, I really am. I just did what I was taught. But I love you no matter what, and I love our moms, both of them."

I looked at her, something changed. "What made you change your mind?"

She smiled. "Robyn, she's a wolf too."

I smiled. "I'm so happy for you, I really am."

She smiled and got up. "So, we're leaving tonight?"

"Wait, what?"

"I'll see you in an hour, make sure you're ready to leave." she said and left.

I looked at the door for several minutes, why does she wants to leave at night? I groaned and laid back down. I closed my eyes and decided to rest for now.

Gwen's POV

I can't believe Luna found our other mother. Yes, I know, she's the Alpha and we could easily find her in her castle but we can't easily get in there either.

I was in my room, pacing around. I was going to meet my other mother, my wolf mother. I hope she isn't going to kill me, I'm a witch after all...

Thinking about this made me anxious. What if she decides to kill me and mom because we were witches...?

I laid back down and closed my eyes, I just needed to calm down and rest some more.

After awhile I heard some soft fainted beep. I blinked a few times and looked around, I took my phone and turned off the alarm I had set for now. I was 11.30 pm. The perfect time to leave to our mother.

I walked to Luna, quietly. I knew if mom would catch us, we'd be in really big troubles.

"Luna?" I whisper shouted. "Luna!"

She blinked a few times and got up. "Hey Gwen." she said pretty loud.

"Shhh!" I whisper shouted. "Mom doesn't need to hear us." I walked to her window and opened it, it was pretty high from the ground. "How are we going to get down?"

Luna looked down and just climbed down, of course she could do that, she's a wolf!

"Hey, what about me?" I whisper shouted.

Luna stood on the ground and held out her arms, did she really want me to jump?

I took a deep breath, considering the idea of falling to my dead... I carefully got out of the window and let myself fall, thankfully Luna caught me. "Thanks."

We walked to the castle, which actually took a while.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked as we were at the huge entrance bridge.

Soldiers already came to us. "Who do you two think you are to disturb... Oh Miss Luna, I'm sorry." he said and immediately let the bridge down.

I looked at Luna.

She shook her head no and thanked the soldier. We entered the castle and I was gasping, this castle was beautiful! "You like it?"

I nodded.

"It'll all be mine someday." she said, smiling.

I chuckled. "You wish."

"It is." She walked to a soldier. "Inform the Alpha that Luna's here, fast please."

The soldier nodded and took of running, that was indeed fast...

"So what now? What do I do?" I asked Luna, she seemed really at ease.

She looked at me and took my hand in hers. "Don't worry so much, you're going to meet your mom."

I took a deep breath. "That's why I'm nervous."

Luna smiled and that's when she looked at a direction and took of running. "Mom!" she jumped on a woman, who I'm assuming is our mom...

"Luna, how are you, sweetie?" the woman asked, kissing Luna repetitively.

Luna smiled, she seemed really happy with our wolf mom. "I'm really happy right now."

"Is that so?"

Luna nodded. "Because I made you happy."

The woman's eyebrows raised.

"I've brought Gwen." Luna said and motioned to me. I took this as my cue to walk closer.

The woman looked at me and smiled, tears in her eyes. "Gwen?"

I nodded and for some reason I had tears in my eyes as well.

"Oh my, you're so beautiful." she said as she pulled me in for a tight hug. "I can't believe I'm finally holding you, my baby girl."

I buried my face in her chest, it felt really good hugging her, she felt so familiar.

Wolf mom made me look at her and caressed my face. "Last time I saw those beautiful eyes, you just turned 1."

I smiled but still was crying as well. "I-I don't even remember."

Wolf mom cried more. "It's not your fault. None of you two." she said as she took Luna and me in for a family hug, without mom. "I love you two so so much, you have no idea."

"I love you too, mom." Luna said, how could she already say it?

We stood there, hugging for so long, but I don't care, I loved hugging my wolf mom.
