Hazel's POV
"Hazel?"
I turned around, seeing Boaz being very impatient. I turned back to my kids. "Why don't you all go look for a room?"
Both Gwen and Luna's faces lit up. "I take the yellow room!" Gwen said as she took off running.
Luna chuckled before changing into wolf and running, obviously being faster than Gwen.
"Luna! Not fair!"
Robyn and Dawn laughed and ran after them.
I turned back to Boaz. "What is it?"
He looked from me to Fay. "She should leave."
At this I rolled my eyes. "She's staying." Right after I had said that, I felt Fay hugging me from behind, and I welcomed her. "For good." I added.
He really didn't seem to like that. "Hazel..." He groaned, he was really irritated. "This is wrong!"
At this Fay stepped forward, as if protecting me against what had to come. "Listen Boaz, I know it's hard but together we - "
"Nothing together!" He shouted, pushing Fay. "You ruined everything!" He kept pushing her. I stopped him by giving him a hard push with my magic.
"Stop it!" I said, walking to him. I held him in the air. "Talk to me, calm."
He looked at me. "You can't forgive her."
"Why not?"
He looked down.
"Boaz, tell me."
He looked me in the eyes, it's then that I noticed tears in them. He sniffled. "Dad..."
"What about him?" I gulped, it's as if my body was preparing itself for what had to come.
"He died." He said it so quietly.
At this I let him fall, not on purpose, and covered my mouth. "N-no, he c-can't... H-he's our d-dad."
Boaz got up, wiping his eyes. "He died this morning, during the announcement. Doctors think he was so confused with your decision that he gave up on life."
I felt Fay hug me from behind. Despite of what Boaz wanted, I let Fay hug me. I was sick and tired of pushing my loved ones away. All I wanted now was for her to hold me, to comfort me, to tell me it's going to be alright.
"Boaz," Fay said, I can't believe she spoke up, at this moment. "I'm sorry for your loss. But that's a terrible thing to say to Hazel."
He huffed. "You're not sorry at all, it's you who killed him in the first place."
"I never meant for this to happen." It's funny how I could feel her emotions, her feelings and her body reactions. I could feel she was speaking the truth. And that, that to me meant a lot. "It was a stupid thing that happened, and he never should've died. Just like your mother shouldn't have either."
"Leave our mother out of this!" He said, defensively. "You wolves - "
"Stop it!" I said before he could go any further with that. "It's all in the past."
He shook his head no. He looked down before walking away.
His wife walked closer to me. She took my hand in hers before putting something in my hand. When she pulled back, I noticed it was the witch leader's ring. I gasped, this suddenly felt so confronting, so real. My dad... He was really gone...
Fay held me closer, kissing my head. "I'm here for you." She whispered over and over in my ear.
"Doctors have asked if you could come by, they believe that you can take his powers now that he's body is still... Fresh..." she said, looking down.
I nodded, tears streaming down my face.
She nodded and left with Boaz and their sons. Right when the door closed, I broke down crying.
Fay held on tight to me, hugging me and supporting me as best as she could.

Luna's POV
I ran and ran, sometimes looking behind me to Gwen, who was desperately trying to catch up to me.
We both wanted this yellow room. And before you ask, yes that's what we called it. That's not the official name for that room.
Anyway I arrived first and immediately entered, I rushed to the bed and laid down on it, as if claiming the room this way.
Soon Dawn, Robyn and Gwen arrived. Dawn walked to me, smiling. She sat down next to me. "I like this room." She looked around.
"Good, it's our room." I smiled.
"Luna!"
I looked at Gwen, who seemed pretty angry. "You'll move out here anyway, can't you leave me the best room?"
I groaned but Dawn hugged me, calming me. "Ok, fair enough." She said, and got up. "Let's take the room across."
I sighed. "Fine." I got off the bed and let Gwen and Robyn sit down. "Just because we get the better castle."
"Luna!"
We all laughed, except Gwen. "I was joking, Gwen."
She smiled slowly. "You better."
We all sat down onto the bed.
"So you two take this room?"
Gwen looked at Robyn. "I mean I take this room," She looked back at me. "Robyn can stay over whenever her parents allow her to."
Robyn wrapped her arms around Gwen. "Don't worry about them, baby. I'll live here." She kissed Gwen's cheek.
"What about your parents?" Dawn asked to which I nodded. "I mean I know you want to be close to your mate, but... Family - "
"She is my family now." Robyn answered and then kissed Gwen's cheek again.
Gwen smiled, holding Robyn close. "You're the best."
"I know." She said and started kissing Gwen's lips.
"Ok, I think we should go." I said to which Dawn nodded. "We'll talk later." I said but got no response from them, they were too busy.
We closed the door and walked to our new room. We entered, and Dawn looked around. "The rooms here are so luxurious."
I nodded. "I mean it's the castle." I said and fell back down onto the bed.
"Yeah, but it's just..." She sighed before sitting down onto the bed. "It's a big change."
I sat up. "Are you regretting being with me?"
"Of course not, babe." She said, kissing me slowly. "You're my mate, my... my everything." She looked down.
"But?"
She sighed. "That's the problem."
"How's that a problem?"
She looked back into my eyes. "You hold the power to destroy me completely, because without you I can't live anymore. I'd be a miserable person, I'd be nothing and I'd feel empty every day. Our Alpha is living proof of that." She sighed. "Just the thought that you mean so much to me... That when you're gone, intentionally or not, it'll kill me and hurt me inside. That thought... It scares me."
I caressed her cheek. "Hey, you won't ever lose me."
"You're the future Alpha."
"And you're my mate. We'll be together forever."
She looked down. "What if someone tries to hurt you?"
I made her look at me again. "Babe, my mom survived, all alone. I'm sure I'll survive with you by my side."
"But she's not the child of two different species."
I sighed and laid down, pulling Dawn with me. "We're not going to worry about things like that." I said, caressing her hair. "Let's relax, ok?"
She nodded and held on tight to me.
