dear malia,
when i walked into class, you were sitting in the desk next to where i usually sit. i stopped, wide eyed and began cursing in my head. why did you have to sit there? i couldn't help but get nervous. butterflies filled my stomach as i sat down next to you.
"hey, hannah," you said. my heart melted as you said my name. it sounded so beautiful, like you were made to say it. your hair was brushed out in its wavy curls, and you wore a lilac top that looked so pretty on you. your eyes shined in the sunlight that was coming through the window. you looked so flawless.
"h-hi," i stuttered back, and my cheeks were red. i tried to hide it but failed. you noticed, but didn't say anything.when class was over, you and i walked out together. it was silent until you spoke.
"hey, so i'm having this party," you said, "and you can come if you want to."
i remember thinking, oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh, malia just asked me to come to her party.
"y-yeah, sure."
"great! i'll see you then!" you smiled and waved, then started walking away.
i smiled and squealed quietly to myself. "wait, malia!" i called after you, realizing you hadn't even told me when the party was.
you turned and gave a small smile, walking back over to me.
"when is it?"
"oh, right! it's saturday!"
i grinned. "okay, i can make it."
you smiled, showing your teeth. god, malia, you were so beautiful. you were so beautiful. "i'm looking forward to seeing you there."truly,
hannah
