dear malia,
my parents announced that my sister was coming home from her university for a gap year i think. i'm not really sure. she came home a few hours before dinner, and that was good. we got to chat for a bit and we got to catch up.
"how are you and ricky?" mum asked, taking a sip of her herbal tea.
everyone had tea except for me. i guess you could say a cup of tea wasn't my cup of tea.
"we're good," she answered vaguely, but then something inside of her must've clicked, because then suddenly she was jumping up and down, waving her left hand around.
mum grabbed her hand to stop it from moving and gasped when she saw a diamond ring. mum hugged her and then everyone went ballistic, for they were happy for their daughter.
ricky proposed.
josh has a girlfriend.
you have a boyfriend.
mum and dad were so goddamn happy.
why the fuck do i not have someone?
